Kristen Dempsey is possibly the best massage therapist I’ve seen, certainly the best in Wilmington. She knows the skeletal and muscular system and works with competence. She can dig in, if you need deep tissue work, or back off for something more relaxing. She’s been a life saver for my back and neck issues. While you can definitely go and get just a massage (which I initially did years ago), but if you need THERAPY, I doubt there is anyone better!

Kristen is a talented massage therapist, specializing in therapeutic massage. Her hands are intuitive and will find your “problem area,” without your even mentioning it. I have visited her for stress relief, when training for endurance running events, and when the grind of being hunkered over a laptop for the majority of my workday catches up with me. I have received massages from 7 other therapists, and she is easily the best…doesn’t hurt that she is usually the least expensive professional therapist in town (apart from students in a massage program).

I’ve been going to Kris for about two years now and as long as she’s practicing massage therapy in Wilmington, I’ll continue to go to her. Kris is kind and professional and incredibly intuitive. She integrates different types of massage to be the most effective and calming. Every massage is always tailored to my needs at that time and I leave feeling like a new person. Kristin is an experienced and intuitive therapist in downtown Wilmington. I highly recommend her for a great massage. She went out of her way to accommodate a short notice appointment for me and was able to do wonders for my various ache and pain points before a recent trip out of ILM airport. Her room (suite 211 now at same address) is in an office space, but is nicely appointed including a great thai cloth print on the ceiling to view. She has strong and sensitive hands and did some isometric treatment on some locations as well. Kristin went to all the right points and I will definitely try to go back again!
