They say tattooing is therapy for some people. It is, especially with a great artist. Tony is my artist and I’m so happy to have made the choice to use him. My initial piece with him was a particularly emotional tattoo for me, a portrait. He nailed it, its amazing and makes me cry in all the right ways. They are by appt, which is amazing to not be interuppted by walk ins. Their space is comfortable and clean. They do what they can to make you as comfortable as possible. I found my tattoo home.

Artist Hector Garza was informative during consultation, considerate of my detailed tattoo design desires, very personable and helped me feel at ease, making lengthy process of getting a tattoo actually an enjoyable experience…time flew by! I got a beautiful tattoo, just as I dreamed of and hoped for it to turn out! So very grateful to Hector for creating me what I will love to look at daily and to this art studio for providing a calm, clean, safe, happy and just good environment. Looking to get a couple of tattoos I’ve been wanting for a while. Stopped by and talked with Hector. He was very helpful and attentive to my ideas and offered his expert opinion as well. It was a great consultation and I left knowing I’d be in good hands. I’ve been contacted by Hector and Lisa several times and I haven’t even gotten my tattoo yet. This is how thorough they are. Making sure every base is covered ahead of time so no surprises. Will update after session.

Weathered Helm Art Studio is an excellent place to get your custom artwork done. Tony and his staff are professional, and very talented. Tony was patient, and easy to work with. After discussing my ideas he created artwork that looks amazing, colorful, and clean. While in a session you’ll be in an environment that is quiet, comfortable, and clean. Using only the best equipment available, the outcome is always amazing! Weathered Helm is the only place I reccomend for people looking for an amazing experience and tattoos that will always bring compliments!

I had waited over 5 years before finally finding an artist I felt was perfect to complete my sleeve. I knew immediately upon sitting down with Tony that he was the perfect fit. Between the cleanliness of the shop and the laid back atmosphere it was perfect. Tony takes so much pride in his work and people from all over the world have been in awe of what he’s completed thus far. Definitely recommend all the crew at weathered helm but in my opinion Tony would have to be considered among the best tattoo artists in the world.
