She was absolutely amazing! She perfectly shaped my brows which are very light blonde, and the tinting made them look better than they have ever looked! I had never gotten my eyebrows professionally waxed or tinted, nor had I gotten my eyelashes lifted or tinted until I went to Marisa. She was absolutely amazing! She perfectly shaped my brows which are very light blonde, and the tinting made them look better than they have ever looked! This salon space is welcoming and fun, it’s also clean and private. As a consumer of such an intimate service, those things are really important to me. I had been going to waxing-chains before switching to waxing by MJ, and my only regret is not making the switch sooner!! No wonder all of my girlfriends come here. When she left, I searched the interwebz extensively until I finally found where she moved to- Waxing by MJ. Her salon is cute, quiet and relaxing. She makes you feel comfortable even when waxing more intimate areas. She is detail oriented so her waxing is comprehensive, and honestly out of the 25 years I’ve been waxing she’s the least painful wax I’ve ever had. Marisa is a gem! I found her at a previous salon when I first moved to portland 3.5 years ago. When she left, I searched the interwebz extensively until I finally found where she moved to- Waxing by MJ. Her salon is cute, quiet and relaxing. She makes you feel comfortable even when waxing more intimate areas.
