Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI booked two appointments for my mom and I for yesterday. One was for 11:50 and the other was for 12:10. However, an hour before the first appointment ( I was en route by the way), I received a text from the owner stating that she would be closing due to the inclement weather. She did let me know that she would have availability later yesterday evening or today. I understood and was still interested so I replied promptly, asking what availability she had for today. As of today, at 2:30 in the afternoon, I have not received a reply of any sort. If text communication is not preferred that should have been made known and I would have called. This was my first time booking so I had no clue of proper procedures if she cancels or is closing early. Yet, nothing has been said and no further instructions have been provided. Instead, I am left feeling robbed of my money, ignored, and thinking “is this why she makes people pay upfront?” Which are feelings and thoughts that no one wants to have. I could have said something else or forced communication but, I believe that the consumer should not have to track someone down for services that they know were paid in full. In short, I was hoping that the waxing results were going to be as good as the reviews claim. Unfortunately, that was not the case and we were not able to find a new waxing place nearby.
