After the success of Wax Candy in Downtown Los Angeles the candy girls decided to spread the love to Long Beach. Wax Candy is the creation of 3 friends/estheticians, who saw a need for clean, affordable and enjoyable waxing in Downtown Long Beach. Clients will notice what sets us apart right away. At the start of each service fresh azulene wax is poured into a new cup which is tossed out when your wax is over, so there is never double dipping. Our staff is warm, funny (and have been known to cheer on nervous clients as they brave their first brazilian) and everything at Wax Candy is aimed at making your waxing experience as clean, comfortable and fun as possible! – And if you’re good we’ll give you a lollipop.

Summer (my waxing technician) is really good & fast! We have the best conversations & we laugh a lot. The waxing process isn’t painful at all. I really love the results. You do have to get to the place a bit early, cause parking can be a bit tight.

I usually have bad experiences with waxing (breaking out, tons of ingrowns, etc) but so far no break outs and my legs feel great! Fair prices, clean environment and top notch service. Got my first brazilian here and loved it! I’ve never done any kind of waxing before, this was my first experience and it was great! I got my Brazilian done by Ivy. She was super sweet, talked me through the whole process and it was quick and mostly painless! Ivy let me take any breaks I needed to breathe after the painful strips and was very professional. I will definitely be coming back for my future waxes!

It was my first time getting a Brazilian and underarm wax. I was a bit nervous but Summer was amazing! It hurt a bit because it was my first time and I was on the last stages of my period but overall the experience wasn’t bad at all. Thank you summer for making me not feel weird and having a really good casual conversation. I like the decor and the place is very cute and clean. Just make sure you get there early to find parking.
