I went here and paid $300 for a hair coloring from Mattie. I should have gotten paid to listen to her complain for 3 hours while she did my hair. I left and the color was not what I asked for, I asked for the color to be fixed and she gave me a date that I could not make. I asked for another date to fix my hair, however, this time she said she cant fix it since I could not make it on the date she asked. This place is pathetic and if you like getting your hair messed up by a cranky hair stylist so you can look like a peacock, then this is your place!

The first time, I had a better haircut. Went back a second time with daughter and had a mixed experience. My daughter’s hair looks uneven – have had to fix it at home. I chose a short hair style that another lady working there had. I didn’t quite get the same haircut as the lady – mine is very layered in the front, which I dislike, rather than a very short bob. However, she did spend much more time with my hair and it is more even than my daughter’s. Otherwise, the ladies working there seem nice.

You truly get what you pay for. Shantè called me over to cut my hair over 20 minutes after my original appointment time. I asked for an inch off for split ends and she cut off 3 inches. It’s a good cut, but I wanted my length trimmed, not shortened. Strike 1.
