Great office. I visit with doctor Volker. He has been incredibly helpful in treating my skin condition. Life changing! And thanks to the office staff who have helped me maintain my prescription with my insurance company. When I visited during Corona I felt very safe. Highly recommend.

I was unhappy w/the practice I was using in Hagerstown MD for skin cancer care and treatment. A friend referred me to Warner & Van Meter about a yr ago.I am so glad she did. Dr. Volker has been awesome. I never feel rushed, always feel heard and he makes sure I understand what he’s telling me. All the things that for me, make me feel confident about the care I’m receiving. The office staff is also wonderful-attentive & courteous. Always gives me their complete attn w/a smile. I had a scare and called in. The Office Manager was able to help me resolve my concern by offering immediate assistance that very well might have had to wait a week. I was SO relieved. This could’ve been handled so differently and caused me some serious stress. I am so glad she listened and heard my fear. I am very thankful for the care I receive from the folks at this practice.

The team here is amazing. They are very friendly, understanding, and accommodating. They don’t just work with you to find a solution to whatever brought you to them but they also educate you! It’s a nice office with a welcoming environment and I highly recommend them. If you have trouble getting in, call a few times to check for cancellations- you’re likely to make it in at some point.

We have used this practice for many years. The doctors and the staff are wonderful. We wanted to post this review to inform patients how our most recent visit was handled, in light of the COVID pandemic. We expected to not have to wait in the normal waiting room, or any room, for that matter, based on the guidelines most offices are following. As a patient, I was called back almost immediately after my arrival, but waited in the exam room for 30 minutes before the doctor came in. If you are trying to be cautious, or if you are a high risk person for COVID, I would recommend asking the front desk how you could remain outside or in your car until your appointment time. Even waiting in the normal waiting room, out by the front door, would be more reasonable, given the new social distance guidelines and recommendation regarding plenty of ventilation in rooms. All other doctors are adhering to these rules. I hope this practice will as well. They do not do telehealth appointments, so you have no choice but to go into the office.

My parents (ages 88 and 85) recently went to the office of Warner & Van Meter for the first time. I cannot stress enough how personable, pleasant, caring, kind, and devoted this office is. The staff is extremely helpful in making sure that everything is taken care of as needed and Dr. Charles Van Meter was the best dermatologist that my parents have been to and are now determined to continue seeing as needed rather than be referred to anyone else. Dr. Charles Van Meter was able to cure a painful sore my mother has had on her arm for quite some time even though her primary care doctor nor a wound care center at the hospital was able to make any progress. Mom is very appreciative of Dr. Van Meter’s knowledge and caring manner. Dad is extremely grateful that someone could finally solve my mother’s problem after watching her be in pain for so long. Dr. Van Meter was caring for my mother in his office when he noticed some places on my father’s head and face that he thought should be tended to and advised Dad to make an appointment to come back with Mom when she was to be seen for a follow-up so that he could take a closer look. Dad went back a week later and ended up having several spots of skin cancer removed. We are so thankful that Dr. Charles Van Meter noticed the spots and had Dad come back to check them out. As I said before….. I cannot stress enough what a great office this is. Every doctor and his staff should be as kind, considerate and knowledgeable as this office is. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We were so impressed by the staff that my parent’s took bouquets of flowers to the two staffers that they had dealt with while there, Gracie and Kristen. Keep up the great work. You are appreciated more than you could ever know.

Dr. Van Meter is great! He is an experienced Doctor, you can tell! His staff is great at getting you in at the last minute when needed and if you have to wait in the office? It’s not for long at all… I also appreciate how quick he is! I don’t have the time to be spending hours at a Doctors office.

My 2nd visit to Warner & Van Meter Dermatology. I made 1 phone call and the receptionist was very professional and immediately got me scheduled the next day. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Jonathan R. Van Meter, M.D. and he was very knowledgeable and new exactly what my problem was. He gave me a thorough exam. I had been suffering with itchy bites and rash for 2 months solid after numerous visits to my primary doctor giving me incorrect meds and not getting to the source. BRAVO!! TO THIS AMAZING GROUP OF DOCTORS

This is a well run dermatology practice. Office staff are on point. Dr. Johnathan Van Meter and Dr. Curt Volker are both amazing dermatologists. They both have an excellent bedside manner and are very knowledgeable and skilled with diseases and lesions of the skin. Frederick county is blessed to have such great dermatologist in our back yard.
