I am an Educator for Head Shape Matters, and have trained with Curly Hair Artistry to be a Curl Specialist. I am Deva level 1 and 2 advanced. I have been in the industry for 40yrs and am more passionate than ever about hair.

Vicky is absolutely phenomenal. I have been to other curl salons in my time here in phoenix and let me tell you, know one understands curly hair like she does. Her strategies for styling and understanding my curly hair have yielded REAL and PERSISTENT results. I was immediately impressed with her in my first session, particularly because she was so willing to teach and make sure I had my curly hair routine down. She is phenomenal!!!! She is booking ahead about 1 -2 months, but trust me she is worth the wait.

I have natural curly hair and have been doing my research to find someone to cut my hair and bring the curls back to life. I found Vicki through Deva Curl’s website. I requested an appointment on Friday and saw her on Saturday which I was very happy to get in so quickly. Vicki and I had a very lengthy conversation about what I was looking for with my hair. I have never been to anyone who specializes in curly hair before and I’m so glad that I finally did. Vicki took all my input and her techniques and brought my curls to life like I have not seen. I did the curly hair transformation, so we spent a lot of time together. She walked me through everything that she did and I left with product samples and an entire page of information of the techniques. She also followed up with me a couple weeks after to see how the curls had settled and if I had any questions. Vicki has been wonderful during this whole process. She is very experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. Another plus is Vicki offers curl coaching where I’m able to practice the techniques with her supervision, so I can have my best curls at home.
