Many have asked how I came up with the idea of V’s. The answer lies in my fond memories of going to the classic barber shops for a hair cut with my dad while growing up in Tucson. I keenly remember the sights and smells of Nick’s Barbershop and the real experience of being a boy among men. It was a place that we could go together and do more than get a hair cut. It was a place that made lasting memories. My son was born in 1994 and I went looking for a barber shop that would let me make memories with him. I did not find the local barber shop that I was looking for in Phoenix, or anywhere else, so I decided to open one. V’s Barbershop was great. I arrived a bit early for my appointment. I was greeted, my appointment confirmed and I was asked to take a brief seat. I was informed Kimberly was wrapping up with a prior customer and would be with me shortly. My appointment started in time. Kimberly was very attentive. She was also able to wash my hair after the cut even though I had not initially requested this additional task. Hair looks great! I will definitely return.

I’ve been here twice, both times were great! But today I had a cut from Willow and she has been one of my favorite hair cuts in a longgg time! She was fun and felt really skilled, good communication at the beginning as she went over with me about what we were going to do. I left feeling sexy and confident as could be! Meet at the door by friendly staff, very clean &Bruce waiting area for appointment. Michael was very friendly being a 1st time customer new to the area. He made conversation very easy & relaxing. Also, watching other staff interact with customers was very pleasurable. There was a family there getting a haircut for the boys & the female barber was interacting with the 9-month old as he was betting a haircut was great to watch. Will be back in the future !!!
