I am so thankful that I found this place. The owner is Jenny; and she is “The Bomb”. Growing up in Savannah I have been to more hair salons than you can imagine. I have paid well over $200.00 for a cut and color and I have paid 35.00. but up until I found Jenn at Von’sauna Salon could I say I won’t go anywhere else. I have been seeing Jenn for a while now, and I have to say my hair has never looked better. Most of My hair fell out when I was 18. I had a very bad perm that was given to me and a bad case of sun poisoning that happened within the same week. Unfortunately though Drs couldn’t even figure out the reasons why my hair fell out and has never come back. Over the years I have tried most everything to help it grow, vitamins, Rogain, etc. I even tried wigs and had a weave put in. The weave was a diaster, and with the heat here, wearing wigs just made me miserable. They were either too tight or too loose, they were also very hot and itchy to wear. I am a chef and baker by profession and I have actually had some of the less expensive wigs melt in the heat of a kitchen. I eventually just gave up and accepted my hair loss and people assuming, that I had cancer because it looked so bad.. Now almost 40 years later Jenn has it growing back, stronger and healthier than ever. She listens to my style ideas and helps me achieve the best looks possible. Her hair coloring skills are out of this world! I have done just about every color under the rainbow at one time or another but Jenn’s work has always looked the best. I have had her put in highlights, lowlights, foils, etc and have never been disappointed. Her prices are very reasonable as well. (nowhere near some of those outrageous prices I have paid in the past).(( Who really needs a glass of wine at 10 am anyway )). I highly recommend Jenn if you are looking for a great stylist, with a wealth of knowledge and great skills. I don’t think you could walk away disappointed with anything she does.
