Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI’ve been coming to Kandis (the salon’s owner) for many years now. Recently I went to Theory Hair Salon to try something new. Sarah Price was the stylist I was given and much to my deep regret I hated the results. It was just a simple, small layer shoulder length haircut! I don’t know if she’s new or she’s just someone to avoid 🙁 She spent a total of 20 min chopping about 8 in off my hair but much of that time was really spent styling (and what I later felt was hiding the bad job she did). You know that moment when they give you a mirror to check out the results and it “looks great” because you had shampoo, root lifter, and whatever else they add, and a blow dry, until you come home and wash you hair again and say Oh No what happened here 🙁 I was pretty sad. I don’t think I will come back to Theory. I went back to Kandis for repair. I should just have come to her in the first place and not ventured out to a $65 plus tip expensive place. Thanks Kandis! When I first started going to him I was transitioning from getting buzz cuts, to something with more style.At the beginning he did a great job teaching me how to apply hair product, and how to get the hair to look a certain way. I’ve been told that I’m the guy who always has nice hair.Over the years I’ve moved away from Bozeman and attempted to find other hair stylists who do as well, it hasn’t been possible. So I’ve sometimes driven 8+ hours roundtrip for a hair appointment, going through snowstorms, rainstorms, etc.Three weeks ago I had Stacy do me and my nephews hair for my wedding. It turned out fantastic! Great new space for these experienced beauty professionals. Cool look inside the building with a nice feel. Just got my hair did there and it looks great. And I booked my next appointment with them with text reminders. (which is optional) I have very fine hair and it takes a long time to cut properly and evenly, but they take the time to make sure it is done right. Walk ins are welcome anytime and they have plenty of staff to take care of your needs. I can’t speak for the other beauty type stuff that they do, but I would be surprised if it’s not on the same level as the haircutting. Prices are good and one of the few places where you get more than you pay for! Go check it out!

Kandis and Stacy’s salon is a fun inviting experience. These two are hands down the best stylists in town! I’m not sure why someone would give these two awesome people and new small business owners a negative review on Google. Unbelievable. As a guy I have forever struggled to find a salon capable of cutting my hair to the style I desired. If any males are in the same boat I was, Volume will NOT disappoint! i almost always have Stacy cut my hair, but when he is not available, I have received the same quality service from the other hair dressers as well.
