GO TO THIS SALON! You will not be disappointed. I have been seeing Kellie for years now and she is absolutely the best. Her entire team is extremely skilled and so friendly. I am the definition of workaholic so I normally look like a HUGE HOT HAIR MESS when I walk-in, usually several weeks past the time I should have come in. This is one of the only salons I’ve ever been to where I don’t get the pity stares when I walk in looking so bad! No judgement, great skill and such a beautiful salon.

Everyone was super friendly and the stylist I could tell was talented. However, the prices! OMG! Everything here is a la cart. Full highlights $215 does not include toner. That will be another $65. And another $50 for a blow dry after your color. So full highlights at $215 means no toner and you leave with wet hair? That is so hard to believe. Maybe the receptionist had it wrong but every time I looked at her asking for clarification she reassured me these are the rates. Add in a trim and tip and it’s over $400 to get out the door. Probably another $100 if you buy products. $500 hair day. Not for me. Great for them and their clientele that can afford these rates, but stay away if you are looking for reasonable rates. Very friendly staff and I’m sure they do great work, but I know I can find quality work at a more realistic rate. This place is only for the Uber rich. I’m looking for a new place because I live too far from my old stylist. Who was great. I thought she was high, but at least what she charged for a full highlight included toner and a blow out. I’m in a similar industry so I know it’s hard right now and we need to increase our rates, but I found the rates at Volt 71 shocking. Still hoping the receptionist was wrong.

When the new owner took over they lied to me that my colorists was out sick. She had actually moved on…Honesty is always the best policy. So here’s my honest review. $85 for a haircut, all she did was put my long hair in a rubber band and cut across. Uneven as all hell. just about died. $110 for a root rouch & she rushed.
