She’s professional and experienced beyond her years. She finished every one of my sentences while asking what I was looking for and asked the right questions (i.e., are you sure you want me to cut the rest of the blue off of the length? – she put the blue in my hair over a year and a half ago). Sheridan makes it easy to change up your look – I trust her completely. I was trying out my natural color during 2020 (ugh) and realized I prefer to be enhanced. I’m so happy to be highlighted again!!! I feel 15 years younger.All of the staff are friendly and professional. The salon is comfortable, clean, and the chairs and areas are well distanced. EVERYONE WORE A MASK. They wiped down the chairs between each use. The salon seems to be updated every couple of years. They keep the vibe fresh and play great music.I found Vogue on 54 a few years ago and its now my go to place for highlights, cuts, fun colors, pedicures, etc. They hit the mark and exceed every time. Vogue on 54 is a top notch salon here at the beach. From the minute you walk in, Sandy greets you with a smile and immediately makes sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable (e.g. cup of coffee, water, etc.) My stylist, Kayla T., is my go to girl. She remembers each appointment and what we have discussed and goes into detail about the cut, style and how to keep that same consistency when at home. She consistently cuts/styles my hair and is always open to making sure it is perfect. She is personable, knowledgable and very down to earth during the entire experience. When getting my eyebrows waxed, she is gentle enough that my highly sensitive skin does not react at all. I could not recommend this salon enough.

I decided to try this place after reading all the rave reviews and was highly disappointed BOTH times I went. The first time I went was to have a bleed mark fixed. Went in for a consult and the girl said it would be no problem to fix. When I came back for the actual appointment, she put 6-8 foils in my hair, washed them out and it was still there…she put a few more in washed them out and it was still there…charged me $75 and said the only way to really cover it up was wait a few weeks and try again after it had grown out…first picture is of the spot AFTER she was finished and I was charged $75. If it could not be fixed/needed time to grow out in order to be fixed I should have been told that at the consult and prior to booking the appointment!!! However, I decided to give this place one more try with a more “experienced stylist” when my roots needed done. BIG MISTAKE, After waiting over a month to get in I went in for my appointment. The girl told me she understood what I wanted (blonde by foil, no stripes, no brassy color etc.) said she had years of experience as both a stylist and a teacher. 4hours and $120 later my roots were still visible, lots of bleed marks and a noticeable line where her work ended and the bottom of my hair (as pictured). I expressed that I was unhappy, my roots barely looked done and it was not what I had wanted. She told me I could come back in 2 weeks after it had grown out and get another half head of highlights and “hopefully that would be more what I wanted, but there was not time/nothing she could do about it that day”!!! Had to go to another place 3 days later and pay $170 to have it fixed. Tried to fight the charges with the credit card company only to be told that the owner said they did provided me with services, that they needed to be paid for the products used and if I didn’t like how it look it was my problem they still tried and I could have refused to pay . I was blown away…as a business owner myself I would never treat any customer this way and would be completely embarrassed at the quality of work provided. I Would have expected the owner to reach out in some way to rectify the problem, since my information was provided by the credit card company, but nothing. I always give businesses a second chance and hate leaving bad reviews, but in this situation I felt is necessary… WOULD NEVER RETURN!!!

I wanted to give a better rating. The salon is very clean, the staff was friendly. However, I LVM asking for a call back from the manager two weeks ago. I have yet to receive one. I requested a call due to being charged an additional service fee for the wrong service. I simply wanted the difference of the CORRECT fee to be settled. I will take the loss, but I will not return or recommend. Really a shame because I was pleased otherwise.

This Salon is beyond amazing! Stopped in for the first time today and got a hair cut/ blow dry. From the minute I walked in I felt more then welcome. They treated me like I had been going there for years. Brittanie did such an amazing job on my hair , and actually listened to what I wanted, which is hard to find in most salons. Her customer service and friendly attitude will keep me coming back and requesting her. 5 stars all the way around.
