Critical: Professionalism, QualityI used to love Vogue nails, but hadn’t gone for several months, due to Covid. I went last week for a regular manicure and was surprised by the lack of acknowledgment the nail techs gave to their customers. No talking while preparing my nails, only amongst themselves. My girl was so aggressive cutting my cuticle, one actually blead! When I got home, the skin on the tips of my fingers had many rough spots that I needed to smooth out myself with an emery board. It was a very impersonal and sub-par experience. I used to love Vogue nails, but hadn’t gone for several months, due to Covid. I went last week for a regular manicure and was surprised by the lack of acknowledgment the nail techs gave to their customers. No talking while preparing my nails, only amongst themselves. Will not be back again … horrible customer service and terrible experience. I went in for a gel manicure leaving on my past nail polish to show manicurist color I would like . When she applied color she said it was close to it however it was not at all the color so I began the process of choosing another color only to be told after the second color I chose which didn’t match the board I was choosing from that selection board was old ?? So then I went to a complete different color option asking for suggestion when literally the lady helping walked away annoyed . It is not a customers fault if the selection board one after the other are incorrect and don’t match the actual color being put on to ones nail . At the very least then explain that first and then help ! Not walk away annoyed ?!! I should of been annoyed not her !!! After a few minutes another lady who was working got up to go get somebody to help me as the lady helping me didn’t come back . A few people then emerged from the back room who came up very unfriendly to me and at that point I made the decision that I was going to pay for what had been done so far and leave and go somewhere else . The owner without an apology or anything charged me 2o $ and was not in the least apologetic or anything but rude .

Went in for an eyebrow waxing and I’m super regretful. It has been 8 hours later and my brows are still on fire. Not only was the wax extremely hot which irritated my skin, I watched the same dip stick go back into the bowl of wax after it was used on my brows which were bleeding. Very unsanitary and dangerous. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Critical: Quality, ValueI had been going to Vogue for years but noticed that the quality of service has been declining drastically! The last few times I’ve gone in to have my mani/pedis I’ve had some really negative experiences with the nail techs. They seem to have extremely high turnover and I always seem to get a new person in training. Never fails that when they go to cut my cuticles they draw blood – Ouch! My last visit was in May 2021 and the nail tech drew blood from 4 different cuticles! Not to mention the quality of both the mani/pedi was so poor that even my husband commented that he could have done better!? Even after all that I still felt compelled to tip. Lastly at the end of the visit when it was time to pay I was told that prices increased. It would have been nice for them to state that up front before receiving my services. I can accept paying increased costs provided I receive good, quality service. I had been going to Vogue for years but noticed that the quality of service has been declining drastically! The last few times I’ve gone in to have my mani/pedis I’ve had some really negative experiences with the nail techs. They seem to have extremely high turnover and I always seem to get a new person in training. Never fails that when they go to cut my cuticles they draw blood – Ouch! There were 3 customers, two White women and one Black woman. Pictures were taken of the White women’s nails, but not the Black woman’s nails. I asked why were pictures being taken, and I was told for Instagram. I asked why weren’t the Black woman’s nails photographed. The owner just said “sorry!” They offered us a free manicure, but I declined. This place must be under new owners because service has never been bad, nor have we ever been openly discriminated against. Six years as loyal patrons down the drain!!! We will not return!! I will polish my own nails with cheap polish before I go back to this place. I’m tired of being mistreated because of the color of my skin!! Saying sorry is never enough. I loved Vogue Nails in the past. I would drive a few miles because of their great service, great color selection and great job done on your nails. I went in today and was very dissapointed with the customer service and very poor color selection. Even the scrub and massage was just like rushing through, to get it over with. Very dissapointed.

Love this nail salon, has always been one of my favorites. Staff has always been nice and have never had a complaint until I met Angela. I almost never want to come back due to the service from Angela alone. She is very rough and painful and doesn’t seem to care at all. I went home with bleeding nails from a simple no chip manicure. Over all great place And great staff but Angela needs to leave. Also my toe polish has already chipped in 2 days

I tried Vogue for the first time today and loved it. Had a no chip Mani and regular pedi, Suri was my artist for both, and she is an artist. Very attentive to every detail, she helped me pick my color (which I loved), and polish looked perfect. Im an athlete and not a regular nail salon visitor, but I felt no judgement, everyone was super friendly and I was completely comfortable. I will definitely return…
