This review is a mixed bag. 2 Stars because lack of empathy and inconsistent quality of haircut: I used to go here, and even recommended them to my family so my parents go and get the haircut here twice a year. They only like one of the hairstylists though, because the other one, they claim, don’t know how to cut their hair well (hence the inconsistent haircut quality comment). When I first went in, I went for a haircut, I think they’re fine as hairstylists but I didn’t care for their verbal jabs. I know that my hair is thinning, I’m old and have a condition. But the ladies who cut my hair kept making comments about my hair and not in a helpful way as well. What’s the purpose of saying ‘Your hair is so thin’ repeatedly while I already know this fact (for years). I told them I know that my hair is thin. When I asked what should I do to improve their appearance, they never gave any suggestions. They’re like ‘That’s just sad.’ <--my thinning hair. It's getting kind of annoying that they kept talking like when I went there to get a haircut to the point that I stopped going there. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but it's annoying when the hairstylists lack empathy and politeness. Also, if you don't know what to do about thinning hair, stop making fun of it. I said 'making fun' due to the tone of voice they have when they point out my thinning hair.

I was in traffic when I looked over and seen the salon and signs. One sign said $8 and the other said $12 haircut. It has been time for a trim up so I said what the hell. I noticed hair stuck on the outside of the drawer, all over the inside and clipper attachments. It was gross. She only used scissors and come for my cut. Then at the end she charged me $17.00 to top it off…… I will not be ever going there again.
