Second time here. They cut mine hair and my beard. I was very pleased. They also cut all 3 of my sons hair. All 4 of us wanted 4 very different styles and we were all more than pleased. Will definitely be back again.

On Wednesday July 13,2022 around 1-2 pm, I came into this establishment looking to receive a haircut. It seemed like a nice, professional environment, it was well-decorated and the staff dressed fairly professionally for a mens barbershop. Midway into my haircut, my barber, Doc, asked if I wanted music, and I said yes. When he played his music another barber complained about the volume, which wasn’t very loud at all. It seemed as though there was underlying tension and it reached a breaking point with the music. There was a profane verbal altercation, with “F” words and “N” words being shouted. And then an acquaintance of Docs threatened the other barber to go outside for a physical altercation. The owner was present the entire time. Mind you, this is the middle of my haircut so I can’t leave with an unfinished haircut, after the altercation my barber was making contact with my head aggressively, and words were still being shouted in the shop. The cut ended up looking fairly decent considering how rough he was. After my haircut, there was no apology or remorse from the owner. I felt scared for my safety, and to make matters even worse, I was still made to pay for haircut, fearing for my safety I didn’t argue, but I felt that the owner should have addressed the unprofessionalism displayed in his establishment. I waited to submit this review to see if the owner would offer any type of professional courtesy to make up for my terrible experience, but nothing. The haircut looked great afterwards, but if you’re gonna come to this establishment, bring protection.

He saw my children and myself in the parking lot at the boba place we go to, gave us his card, and said he really thinks he can give us great haircuts. I have been looking for a place to get their hair cut, so we tried him out. I brought my son first, and he did decent on his hair, but he was pretty impatient with him as he has sensory issues, particularly with hair cuts. I didn’t like that, but brought my daughter the next week as he did do decent with my son’s hair. I told him to shape up her hair as she is trying to grow it out. Her hair is pretty short as is, so it didn’t need much. I did want him to shave the sides, but just barely trim the top. He shaved PAST her hairline (without any guards) on the back of her hair and didn’t use scissors on her hair once. He cut her hair the way you would cut a boys hair. He used thinking shears on a part of her hair that was sticking straight up. Before he started I asked him to wash her hair, as it needed to be wet in order to calm down the spots that were sticking straight up. He said he needed to cut it dry in order to give it a good cut. Which is strange because my stylist ALWAYS washes my hair first. So he shaved past her hairline on the bottom of the back of her head. Used the thinning shears to cut the top part of her hair and cut it almost down to her scalp. He used a comb and buzz clippers to cut the top of her head. I asked him not to cut the bangs straight across, and he did it anyways. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had never cut women’s hair before. On top of all that, he charged more for her cut than he did for my son, even though he told me I would get a discount for bringing the whole family. I won’t be going back, and wouldn’t recommend him for anyone else, especially if you have medium to long hair, or just need a trim. He doesn’t listen, nor does he know how to use scissors or thinning shears. It was the owner who cut her hair.

Love this barbershop it’s close to my house. Damion did great and VJ has a great atmosphere and everyone in the shop even VJ gives great service and cuts. Definitely recommend to everyone looking for a professional and peaceful atmosphere and great service .
