I never post reviews, but felt this was important to share. This salon is run so poorly, I am truly shocked by the high reviews. I arrived 10 min before my appointment today, and was told to wait for my stylist. The salon was packed, and it became clear that every stylist was overbooked, working on multiple clients. 30 min past my appointment time, a different stylist brought me to have my hair shampooed and then sat me in a chair. I waited an additional 30 min without any updates from staff about why my appointment was delayed. Then I received a phone call from receptionist stating they would have to cancel my appointment if I didn’t show up when I had been there for over an hour! I let her know I was already in a chair, and she hung up with no apology. My stylist had requested they call me to come late since she was so behind from a bridal party, but they never called me. She was horrified I waited so long. Julieta did a fantastic job with my hair and I wish I could continue to see her at a different salon. I paid $200 for a cut and toner (plus tip) only to be treated horribly by staff and wait over an hour for my appointment. This was not Julieta’s fault and she was perfectly lovely but I unfortunately won’t return.

Dolores has been my hairdresser for years. Every single idea or issue I have with my hair or with a special event I need help dressing up for, she listens and responds back with conclusive feedback. Every time I go to her, she has been a amazing. Always look up some pictures or looks to bring with you for an appointment so she can look at them and give her response on what can work for your hair.

Highly recommend this salon. I came in at the last minute needing my hair colored and cut, they were the nicest people and fit me in despite a super busy day. I wanted to get my hair lightened for summer and they did a fantastic job with a super natural looking blonde highlight and tone – exactly what I was looking for. I am extremely happy with my haircut and hair color- Frida is the absolute best!! They also use Oribe products which feel and smell amazing! The salon is super clean, they also offer tea/coffee while you get your hair done. I will be returning for sure! 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a new place to get their hair done in Palo Alto.

Went in did a walk in and got my hair dyed for the first time by Dolores. She did an outstanding job I’m very happy with it and if you’re doing it for the first time I highly recommend her she is a great person and worker all around. Thank you Dolores. I went to Vizavou salon and Hudy Taha was my stylist. I must say- she was the most amazing hair stylist I have EVER seen. She is timely, attentive, and caring. She gave me recommendations for the haircut and color I wanted, but was never pushy with me. Due to the pandemic, and having overall negative experiences at salons where stylists had done what they preferred on me over what I had asked— I had not been to a hair salon in almost 5 years! I was fed up with my look, and decided to give seeing a professional a second chance. A friend of mine recommended Hudy to me. After cutting and dyeing my hair myself it had obviously taken its toll. Hudy did not shame me for what I did. She assessed my hair, listened to my vision for my new style, and provided me her suggestions. I originally wanted to get highIights, but Hudy thought that my hair was too fragile for it, and recommended a balayage instead. I decided to put my trust in her, and I am elated that I did. At the end of my session, I felt the most beautiful I had been in years, and I actually let out a few tears. She is sweet, funny, makes her clients feel like royalty, and most importantly, she is super talented with the shears and balyage. If you’re considering making an appointment at Vizavou Salon, I HIGHLY recommend that you make it with Hudy, she is the most wonderful stylist I have had the pleasure of seeing and she makes you feel pampered — you’ll love your final look!

Last minute on Friday night, girl texts me a picture of a hair cut and says “get it exactly like this or I’m ghosting you” I went to three other places that all turned me down kindly (except Edge, they were pretty unsympathetic to my predicament) then I came here, Natalie cut my hair. Best hair cut I’ve ever had by far. I’ve had way more expensive hair cuts that have sucked compared to this. 55$ and whoo it was a good night. they prefer 1 week notice :p. Best fade around, dope clay recommendations.

Coralia at vizavoo has done my hair several times including full hilights, cut, and styling for a gala, and I have loved the results each time. They always look high quality and luxurious. Particularly when bleaching, it is nerve racking to try someone new. Coralia is always concerned with the health of the hair, and I know when I go to her I will leave looking like my best self.
