My problem with his salon is not necessarily the service, but my checkout and payment experience. I had received a 20% off promo in an email to use, so I booked the appointment for a lash lift with that. I was told at checkout they would apply it. When I went to check out, I asked the receptionist if I received the discount, she seemed hesitant, but said yes. I later rechecked their prices and realized I was charged the full amount and she essentially lied to me. I got the sense she just didn’t know what to do and didn’t want to ask anyone. So I then called to speak to the manager, never received a call back. Later received an email from the manager saying I could use the difference towards a future purchase. This was a big hassle, but I feel if you’re going to give out a promo, it should be usable, especially since I had gone to great lengths to ensure I could use it. The manager did not seem very concerned, especially given that her receptionist seemed incompetent. On top of this, my lash lift was not the greatest experience, the adhesives hurt, and she was not a very friendly person and I later learned she had caused some damage by not using the best technique. Overall I feel this salon is overpriced, I can find the same service for much less elsewhere.
