Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueVery bad business practices. I asked for package 1 at $30. Was charged $50 at the end of service. Gel polish is apparently $20 extra dollars. I came in with no polish on so there was no removal. This is not the first time an inconsistency in pricing has occurred. I’ve been coming here periodically over the past 3.5 years and it’s always the same. Hidden fees. I refuse to be serviced by Vivian as her gel polish chips within the day. She rushes through services. I only pop in once in a while for Patrick who does amazing pedicures. But I’ve had enough. Even though my service was with Patrick she manages the money and up charges me. Which is sad because I intended to leave a heftier tip for Patrick. In the past I was charged $85 for a short stiletto matte black for my daughter. The polish was sloppy. I’m a cosmetologist so I can understand charging for both time, quality, and material, but it just isn’t here. And especially not from Vivian. My advice to Patrick is to find another salon. He’s truly done the best pedicures I’ve had. Also seen her pop in new clients at the pedi bowl without cleaning it after a pedi that came and left while I was there. Yes. She’s adamant about cash. Has had me walk to CVS to pull out money while she waited. Usually people don’t care as long as the tip is cash. Like I said, I’m a hairdresser so I get the tip part but the full service request in cash just seemed inconvenient. She acted like she was doing me the favor of waiting for me to pull out cash. Smh. Now I’m just ranting but either way. These were my experiences the past few years. I’ll end it on this, 50 is not bad for a pedi but when you’re told prices are one thing and then you have to pay another just isn’t right. Also at the 50 dollar price I get more at other shops.
