The lady that did my nail did such a horrible job. I even told her that one of my nail were crooked but she just kept on making excuses. My nail don’t even look like they’re coffin. This was honestly the worst experience. All my nail aren’t even at all. They all look different lengths. And then she wanted to charge me an amount completely different from what she said when i first walked in. Unbelievable! I’m honestly not happy with my nail or the service are this salon. Would not recommend!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueWe live in the neighborhood and a couple years have gone by since I last used their services and it was fine.But today me and my daughter had our nails done and unfortunately the quality and service doesn’t match the price,we were both rushed and we ended up with bumpy and uneven nails.The nail tech also broke one of my nails during filing.The service tech was male and he was so ruff while filling my nails it hurt me during the entire process and burned my nails under the UV light.Once I paid for the service and stepped outside, I looked at my nails realizing how uneven and bumpy they were.I went back to ask for the same person to fix it but he wasn’t there. A different nail tech gave me an attitude about my concern and just painted over the top coat with the nail polish.I asked her about my daughter’s nails if she can get it corrected tomorrow because she had to leave and the tech had the nerve to tell me that she can’t make an appointment for that and she would just have to wait for the nail tech tomorrow to finish her other costumer and then she can see her or she will have to pay extra.Rude subpar and overpriced service the price tag for both was in cash no receipt offered$139.00 + gratuity of $21.00Feeling dump for tipping them never again would use their service.We live in the neighborhood and a couple years have gone by since I last used their services and it was fine.But today me and my daughter had our nails done and unfortunately the quality …More

the worst manicure… don’t waste your time and money. cuticles not done right, nail shape all wrong, nail color has “bubbles”. I’ve asked to speak with a manager but there was no manager . Instead of offering money back, they removed the nail polish and offered to repaint my nails in 3 days?!? check out my nails below. horrible service, stay away.

Terrible place, came here for the first time to get mani & pedi, in less than 10 minutes the woman assigned to me was going to polish my nails, she didn’t clean well and when I asked for exalted, she didn’t file my nails and I asked but she said there’s no way to do it because too short and that I should do it myself, raising her voice from the beginning. I asked her to lower her voice and it didn’t work.

Went here for a gel manicure and had a fantastic experience. They definitely had all the safety precautions for COVID-19, so I felt good in that regard. Customer service was good, the woman did my nails fairly quickly but not rushed or anything (she did 3 coats!) and they looked amazing. I had gone to another place next door and had a bad experience with peeling, but 10 days later (pictured below) and my nails haven’t peeled at all and still look amazing. I’m shocked actually.

I’ve done more extravagant nails for a half the price, they are nice and sweet and know what they’re doing, HOWEVER, they are EXTREMELY overpriced! My regular nail salon was closed so I decided to try them and I don’t recommend just for the price reasons, maybe if you’re getting a manicure but for a full set no. I believe she charged me $15 just to remove my old set. Sorry but I don’t have $100 to spend on nails every 2-3 weeks…

Time to find a new nail salon to call home. I’ve been coming here for 5 years and unfortunately my last visit on 12/21/2020 made me realize how terrible the service has gotten and how INSANE the prices gotten. I’ve included a pic of my holiday nails. These nails are nice but definitely NOT worth the $74 price tag. Due to COVID-19 I called a day ahead to schedule an appt for my sister and I. Both of our apps were for 4:00pm. We arrived on time and our service started right on time. Michelle did my tips pictured below. My sister was scheduled to get a regular pedi and gel mani. After my sister completed her pedi the nail tech that was working with her walked her to a nail station to get started on her gel mani. At that time customer walked in and this nail tech left my sister in the chair to go tend to the customer without saying a single word. My nail tech Michelle told us that a “regular” customer who had an app with the nail tech that was working on my sister walked in and so my sister would have to wait to get her nails done by someone else (my sister had an appt for 4:00pm the other customer’s appt was for 4:30pm). Michelle told my sister to wait 15mins for another nail tech to come and do her gel manicure. My sister waited 45mins for the other nail tech to finish working on WALK-INS before coming to start her gel mani. Needless to say my sister decided to NOT spend more money by doing her mani at a place that has such disregard for basic customer service and communication. I’ve been traveling from Manhattan to park slope to get my nails done here for years. This visit was a complete waste of time. I will no longer be visiting this nail salon.

Hands down one of the best nail salons on 5th ave in Brooklyn ! my go to person is MICHELLE she is absolutely the best at a Mani, Pedi, fullest you name it she’s your go to person! i mean just check out the picks. Candy is also amazing I love these ladies make sure you book you next appointment with them !

I am a regular at this nail place. It had recently moved about 2 or 3 blocks up 463 5th ave. I like the old place the workers are much more nicer and attentive. The majority of the time I get a spa pedicure which I enjoy. I got a spa pedicure at the new location and it was rushed and when I told the staff I would not be tipping her because I wasn’t satisfied with the service I received, she got very defensive and rude then asked if I wanted someone else to do my manicure, I said yes. Long story short, I DO NOT RECOMMEND going to the Vivi nails located at 463 5th ave!!
