I am new to Morristown and tried this location for the first time. As someone who has worked in restaurants for a long time, and knows how crucial reviews can be, I do not leave negative ones lightly. Though, this place deserves it. They were mean and aggressive. When my acrylic were done I mentioned they were not straight, she said it was and it was fine. The picture attached shows how slanted they are while it is still worse in person. This also looks like my 6 year old niece painted my nails. I had mentioned it to her how there was paint all over my fingers. She took some polish off my fingers but not much. The picture attached is also after I have taken some more polish off myself. I also went with a friend who did not like her color. The gentlemen doing her nails basically said too bad. She asked if he could at least make it a French to cover some (as she thought the color was translucent) and he was not happy about either. I spent $105 (before tip) for a pedicure and acrylic set which I believe is pricey to begin with. I would have expected it to be perfect. I will not be returning.

I came in for a quick UV gel removal. The gentleman of course used the machine to take off my nails. He went so deep he cut through my nail and it bleed for a while. I was in so much pain and in the moment I would expect him to say sorry. He waits till I’m done reacting to the deep cut. I asked for a bandage and he never gave me one . After the service he still charged me and I left with the worst clean up a bleeding nail. I will never come here again . I would’ve excepted him to offer me something after a horrible experience, but nothing. I don’t recommend this place at all.

generally the worst service i have ever received. i’ve gone to viva nails for over a year and went to get acrylics recently. the guy doing my nails cut open my hand multiple times with a nail file and never said sorry as i was bleeding. he proceeded to rub in nail polish remover to my bleeding cuts. there was a bubble underneath my nails and i pointed it out and he said i picked a see through color- i in fact did not pick a see through color he messed up my nail. then when paying for the nails i asked if there still was a student discount and he got mad at me said no i need to pay cash. i would give zero stars if possible

Just be aware if you go for a gel pedicure your feet will not be soaked until after your toenails been polished. I was in total shock, I’ve had several gel pedicures in the past (at other locations) and my feet have always been soaked, after my old gel nail polish has been removed. When receiving a pedicure I always look forward to having my feet soaked prior to them starting or while one foot is being worked on. For $58, for a gel pedicure, I expected that and more. I actually ended up getting a French pedicure and the price increased to $68, which is extremely high but decided to do it because I was going away in a trip. I normally pay at other places for a gel pedi around $40 (Montclair). However, never again will I go back. I did ask the girl who was doing my toes why wasn’t there any water in the bin and why weren’t my feet being soaked and she just shrugged her shoulders and said that how we do it. Will never go back. Also, to top it off my French looks mediocre.

Jason who was doing my nails at the same time my toes were done, was very rough. He Didn’t seem to care that he hurts you by filing. Then he moved my shoes away like it was something terrible to touch. Accidentally stepped on my shoes, but didn’t say sorry or try to wipe them. He seems unhappy or above what he is doing. They also ask for cash and refused to add tip for the girl who did my nails. I felt embarrassed to go without giving a tip to her, I’m sorry for that. Jason, however did have Venmo. Overall I felt like I went to a quick and cheap car wash.

I got a basic mani/pedi and there were extras included that normally aren’t at other salons. The chairs were new and comfy. The pedi included a great scrub with warm lotion treatment on your heels. Then the mani came with warm lotion gloves while they worked on my nails. And a shoulder massage while I was drying. Amazing value for the price! I’ll be back. This was my first time going to Viva Nails. Wow! They were professional, took every Covid precaution possible to keep everyone safe, and the services were fantastic! I got a basic mani/pedi and there were extras included that normally aren’t at other salons. The chairs were new and comfy. The pedi included a great scrub with warm lotion treatment on your heels. Then the mani came with warm lotion gloves while they worked on my nails. And a shoulder massage while I was drying. Amazing value for the price! I’ll be back. And I highly recommend.

I just came here with my sister. The man who helped us was extremely rude, and cut my sisters finger when doing her nails. He didn’t apologize even though it was deep and she was bleeding, and then a minute later she moved her hand and a nail he was doing got a bit of a smudge and he gave a HUGH sigh and acted extremely dramatically!
