Deep Tissue/Medical Massage
Deep Tissue Medical Massage is intended to work deeply in the area (s) of the body associated with the problem. This is not a full body treatment. A full body deep tissue session is available and is 90 minutes. A 90 minute Deep Tissue Massage is not medically related and is intended for those who enjoy deeper touch from head to toe.
Structural Bodywork 3 Series (SB3)
Three 75 minute treatments for lower, mid and upper body with a full extensive body read and movement evaluation prior to each session. The treatment is designed to create flexibility throughout the body by realigning the muscular and fascial system; just as a Chiropractor adjusts and realigns the spine. This work creates better body awareness, better posture, confidence and leaves you with a feeling of increased mobility due to the soft tissue adjustment.
Structural Integration 12 series
A more in depth version of the SB-3 series (3 treatments) which looks at the body in its detailed structural patterns with an extensive view of posture analysis and health history. This work is a more detailed view of the body from head to toe and superficial to deep in a 3 dimensional fashion, built into a 12 series (12 sessions). Each session is built from the previous one. Through this process, body awareness and structural change become more apparent. Each session is 75 minutes.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI met with Jo’Ann today for my very first time. As a pro-athlete, I’ve had previous massage work but nothing like this. She evaluated me from head to toe and asked me what I wanted out of today’s session. Professional and personable, she was able to relieve my hip pain by working “magic” on my tight muscles and poor posture. She also gave me some feedback afterward to help me manage in the weeks between sessions. Amazing skill and talent. I highly recommend Jo’Ann! Jo’Ann is amazing!!! I sit in front of computer all day so I constantly have neck pain. After 1 hour my neck along with my upper back and lower back feel good as new because of Jo’Ann. My first real issue and why I decided to go for myofasical release massage was because I could not stretch out feel any relief from this muscle strain I had. Thanks to Jo’Ann that pain subsided. Very knowledgeable, caring and passionate I highly recommend Jo’Ann.

I have been a client of Jo’Ann’s for over ten years for medical and deep tissue massage, and structural integration. I have tried other massage therapists from time to time when our schedules didn’t coordinate and none of them even came close to what Jo’Ann has been able to achieve for me. I don’t receive treatment from Jo’Ann to relax… I see her to correct postural imbalances and muscle tension resulting from injuries and a chronic neurological condition. She is passionate about her craft and has elevated her practice to include structural integration after completing an intensive training program.

I see Jo’Ann about once a month for massage to help relieve pain and tightness that I have had for years due to past surgery (scar tissue) and issues related to repetitive movements at work. I can definitely tell a difference in how I feel. She has gotten me to the point that I now only need maintenance to continue to feel great! She is amazing!

A little hard to find, I thought I was in the wrong place due to different signs on the door (there’s an obscured sign in the window). The therapist herself is positive, kind, and knowledgeable.

I have been coming here once a month for a little over a year. My first few massages were Swedish, but I have since switched to the 1.5 hr. deep tissue. Jo’Ann is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable.

Working with Jo’Ann was extreamly informative and a great experience. She was able to work through issues I didn’t even know I had and correct them. Every session she was focused on how I felt and compared my movement from before the treatments and after, proving what she was doing was helping. I will continue to go to her!
