Chemical peels
Chemical peels are comprised of medicated solutions of varying strengths that are applied to the skin in layers. I saw Brynne at the downtown Denver location. I had been considering having fillers in my lips for some time, but had always been a bit nervous. After doing some research, I felt she would be the right person to see. At my first appointment, we spent quite awhile discussing what I was wanting to achieve with botox, lip filler and filler under my eyes/cheeks. She listened and gave me so much info. She definitely made me feel at ease and nothing was uncomfortable. I went back a couple days later for a touch up with remaining product. Again, we were both extremely excited at all the results, especially my lips. They are much fuller, but definitely not “duck lips”. I wanted my thin top lip to be fuller, as well as the bottom. It’s noticeable but not over the top. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the level of experience and professionalism I received from Brynne. I would highly recommend anyone interested in facial esthetics to see her!!

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had a very bad experience here and wanted to share it with those who are considering a treatment at VITAHL.First of all, they don’t list any of their prices online so call beforehand if you’re on a budget. They probably do this because they’re overpriced. I paid $100 for a dermaplane session and none of my girlfriends pay nearly that much for this service elsewhere. (For dermaplane I’ve heard great reviews from a few friends who go to Aspire in Lakewood)Now, here is what happened to me during my dermaplane session. Mid-way through my face started burning like crazy. I’ve had other facial and beauty treatments before and I’ve never felt pain like this. And for dermaplane, a treatment that doesn’t use lasers or chemicals, I thought this to be odd. I asked her (Brynn Junker) if this were normal and she said yes, so I tried to ignore it. It was miserable.When she finished the treatment she said the redness and tenderness would last for about 24 hours, and I could resume my normal skincare routine after that time. Our session was Thursday 10/8 early afternoon, but by Friday 10/9 in the evening I couldn’t even put my face on my pillow. It was so sensitive and hurt to the touch. It also felt very rough – which is the opposite of what should happen after dermaplane. Your skin should be baby smooth.When I woke up Saturday morning my entire face was visibly cut EVERYWHERE. I had cut marks from the dermaplane tool she used. They were under my eyes, on my forehead, on my chin, on my cheekbones, on my jawline… it was terrible.I couldn’t call VITAHL to tell them what had happened because I left super early morning for Breckenridge and the shop doesn’t open until 9:00am on Saturday. I had no cell signal all day (doing mountain things as one does in Breck). I didn’t head home until the evening when it was already too late to try and call again since they closed for the day at 3:00pm.Further, the shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays. So I had to wait until Tuesday. I called as soon as they opened at 11:00am. The front desk employee was very apologetic and took my message. Later that day, Brynn (the woman who did my dermaplane) called me and asked for photo proof of the cuts. I said that it had been 4 days and the cuts were barely visible. I reminded her that she told me to wait 24 hours, which I did, and that on Saturday I was not able to call (because of Breck) nor was I able to call on Sunday or Monday. I called as soon as possible on Tuesday. She still asked for photo proof so I agreed and I emailed them to her.She emailed me back and said because she saw no cuts she could not issue me a refund. I responded and said I still demand a refund for a service that did not result as it should have, and also because she could have permanently ruined my skin. After speaking to the few girlfriends of mine who get this treatment done regularly, they all agreed that Brynn clearly didn’t know how to hold a blade because cuts should NEVER happen.The manager, Rachel, then called me back the next day and offered for me to come in so they can assess any permanent damage they might have caused. I said that I’m sure you could understand why I wouldn’t want anyone there to touch my face again. Then she stated that she would not refund me because the photos didn’t show any cuts. I was extremely upset.Let me be clear – this isn’t about the money. I pay a lot of money to have lots of things done that I enjoy – I get my hair colored, I’m regularly waxed, I get my nails done, I get hydrofacials, I get massages, etc… But when I pay for a SERVICE, if that service does not go the way it is supposed to, I expect a refund. No matter what the price is.I hope this helps the next girl choose her medical spa wisely.I had a very bad experience here and wanted to share it with those who are considering a treatment at VITAHL. …More

Went in to get dysport, I get it regularly at a place in Broomfield but I’m busy and I really needed to find a place closer to my house. I usually spend $280 at my normal place and I get perfect results, lift and freeze, I love it. But here I paid well over $300 and ……hardly nothing, in fact I feel like my face is droopier. A month later I’m now trying another place and I can’t wait! I have no problem paying the money but dog gone it, this face better be on on point… and it wasn’t. No ice, no real questions about what I would like to achieve. Told to “come back” if I don’t see desired results. For $350, I without question, should see said results. Period. My injector should be right under god in the order of important people in my life and unfortunately this was just a blah experience.
