I visited the White Bear Lake location, I do not know about the other location in Shoreview. This is a real Korean lady spa. The real deal. It’s small, but it has everything. Very clean. High quality. They use Dermalogica facial products. I got the premium package and I could not have been happier. I regularly frequented Korean spas in San Francisco and Seattle before moving back to St Paul, and I must say Vita ranks right up there with the best spas. Small but mighty. Once you have experienced a body scrub at the Korean lady spa, you won’t go back to American style spas.

We had always wanted to do the Korean scrub since we’ve gone to many Korean spas and never got the chance to do so out of town. I was so happy when I heard that we had a spa here in MN that does the Korean body scrub, ecstatic, in fact. My husband booked the sauna, Korean body scrub, and Deep tissue massage package. Since the party before us was running because they arrived late, we were actually given a lot more time to our sauna time, which was great since we had arrived on time. The women working there didn’t rush us and gave us plenty of time to relax in the sauna. They were extremely friendly. When it was time for the Korean body, I was very nervous and Sarah made me feel very comfortable and just allowed me to relax. Our deep tissue massage was just perfect, I felt so refreshed and rejuvenated. My skin felt so smooth and clean. I highly recommend going here for a nice getaway from the kids. It’s always great to give your skin a deep cleanse because your body sweats so much and you really do not know how much dead skin you have on your body. I’m just going to share my honest experience. They fit me in last minute which I am very grateful for. I arrived and they told me to take my own shoes off and put on their flip flops that everyone else has worn (very gross to me.) During the facial the person doing it was coughing/clearing their throat constantly which was not only gross but really took away from my ability to relax. The facial was so fast like literally they were moving their fingers and hands all over my face rubbing all the products in SO quickly that it was not relaxing at all. They had to leave my facial twice to answer the front door and I don’t think they changed their gloves when they did that. They gave a great hand and head massage!! Also, they were VERY kind and sweet. Overall I would not go back because it was not relaxing at all and majority did not feel good and it was not the most hygienic place.

I planned a spa day for my boyfriend, my 2 sisters & myself for today & was just disappointed. The staff is super nice but from what my boyfriend & myself experienced it was not worth the $1,000 I spent for us all to get a massage, Korean body scrub, facial & the sauna. I will start off by saying that after our time there we all had lunch & discussed our experiences. It was apparent from the start that we all had very different experiences. The woman who did the facial on myself & my boyfriend was not gentle at all. She rubbed the cleansers & exfoliants into my eyes & over exfoliated my face. 9 hours later & my eyes have not stopped burning & my face feels raw & itchy. Was not asked if I had sensitive skin, problem areas, or was currently taking any medications or using retinol (which is typically asked any time I go for a facial elsewhere). The massage was interesting but really didn’t do anything for me. It almost felt like the girl doing my facial should’ve been giving the massage because she was fairly heavy handed & the woman giving the massage should’ve been doing my facial with how light of a touch she had. Initially we were split up so my boyfriend & I had the facial/massage first & my sisters had the Korean body scrub/sauna first. After my experience, I opted my boyfriend & myself out of the Korean body scrub while we were in the sauna. My sisters did everything & really had no complaints until a couple hours ago when they started to notice intense irritation on their faces from the facials. I’m really sad because I wanted to have a really relaxing experience & that’s just not what I received. I’m going to be giving them a call tomorrow because having spent over $1,000 I feel that we deserved a better experience.

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismWe went to this place for the first time, despite reviews, because other places were booked.We were told $180 total two 90 minute massages for both of us.The massages were great, and there was no issue there at all.The issue came at the end. As soon as we were finished and went to the counter to pay, both women decided that the price was now $250 and we had to pay in cash, not card.They sent my friend to get cash from the ATM across the street at a gas station. When he came back, they told him he also needs to give them $40 as a tip- even though they just added $70 for the services.All in all, we went in for a service that was supposed to be $180 and ended up being a forced $290.I will never go here again because of how rude this was. Absolutely enjoyed my exprience with Sarah at Vita Day Spa! Especially for a new location Sarah and her team knew exactly how to take care of me. I came in initially for some waxing services and during my wait she offered for me to stay warm in the sauna. I learned more about her local esthetician services as well such as her cosmetic skin treatments, facials and also korean body scrubs. Happy to say I just finished my 2nd visit here and can’t wait to get a massage soon!

I had my first ever Korean body scrub with the sauna from Sarah and it was amazing! She was very kind and always checked in with me to see how I was doing with the scrub and if I was comfortable. I will definitely be doing this again!
