This place is for those who want to enjoy the best from this life, this place has a gym to get your body sweating it opens early in the morning, then you have a jacuzzi on the top on the building with the best Monterey bay panorama view, they offer massages for those who have a lot of stress, you can also use the sauna, this place has so aroma therapy and other oriental massages if you want to impress your significant other bring them here I promise they will never forget this place and they will want to marry you, I hope who ever is reading my review enjoys this place as much as I did, the people at this place are very profecional and they always help you with anything, they make sure you feel relaxed all the time while you’re here. I hope your expectations are high because this place represents that.i recommend getting one of their suites that includes access to the outside jacuzzi. I had booked a massage and a bath, but the massage was cancelled last minute due to a staff member being out sick for the day. I went ahead with the bath and it was wonderful. The views were incredible. When I went to check out, they unexpectedly covered the cost of the bath and gave me a lovely candle and oil for the massage cancellation. I went ahead with the bath and it was wonderful. The views were incredible. I had a massage by Kelsey and it was TERRIBLE! I will never go back to Vista Blue. She didn’t listen to me at all and was so weak. I do not recommend this spa or Kelsey whatsoever.

So overall, it was a great experience and staff were lovely. Here are my thoughts…the locker area is TINY which doesn’t make any sense with amount of room there is…we had to wait for ladies to leave before we could fit in.

My husband and I are staying at Monterrey Plaza Hotel and Spa for a week. What a great choice! This spa is absolute heaven. I wouldn’t change anything about it. If I lived here, I would undoubtedly be a regular customer. The massage was a deep tissue and probably one of the best I’ve ever had which is saying something because I frequently get massages. Roseanne was amazing.The spas on the top floor overlooking the Pacific are extremely clean, nice, and perfect. Wow. I can’t imagine a better place to relax and enjoy the scenery… simultaneously. My only regret is not booking a treatment every single day, but at least I still have tomorrow.

Idk why this has more stars than the Portola. I went in for a service and it seemed like the amenities were less or strangely placed. The amenities are in front of the door where guest arrive. You aren’t able to be nude in any of the spaces. The therapist I got complained under her breath and asked too many irrelevant questions imo and the pressure was not deep and overly creamed up. I will stick to Portola and recommend the same for everyone else. Oh and I forgot to mention OVERPRICED. Also if you order food like it is suggested you will not be told that they charge a service and gratuity fee to their liking! ex. my food was 16 and the total ended up being 25.
