Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueSome of my friends recommended this place to me because they’ve gotten some haircuts here and it went well. I went here because of the things my friends told and because I wanted to support a business ran by a woman of color. All of my friends who went said they were good. For me, on the other hand, I did not get what I wanted. I told the woman who worked there that I wanted just a few inches off and make sure that it was cut BELOW the shoulder. I told her four times to emphasize it. There’s no way you could have misunderstood it. I even pointed to below my shoulder so that there was no room for interpretation. I go through the haircut, hair in front of my face so I had no clue how much she was cutting it. I even asked her during the haircut if she was cutting below the shoulder. She said yes. At the end of the haircut, I look in the mirror and behold, all of my hair, each and every strand, is above my shoulder. Cried myself to sleep. I look hideous!! Some of my friends recommended this place to me because they’ve gotten some haircuts here and it went well. I went here because of the things my friends told and because I wanted to support a business ran by a woman of color. All of my friends who went said they were good. I love what Lisa can do to my hair; I would highly recommend her to everyone. I come here and see Lisa every time when I need color, highlights, or haircut. She does great jobs and she is a very skilled stylist. I love what Lisa can do to my hair; I would highly recommend her to everyone. The entire staff is pleasant, and they have many long-term clients who have developed strong relationships with their stylist.
