I have been going here for a few years to get my hair colored and cut. I went in recently to get my hair cut and colored. They girl who was doing my color was no longer there so they gave me someone else. I was fine with that because they said the color the other girl used was in the system. The lady who did my color was really nice but my color is definitely not what I typically get. Also for my haircut my lady was off so I went to a guy and he messed up hair up bad. He cut off way more than I wanted and it’s not even at all.

We have been patronizing this VC for at least 8 years. Took my daughter in for her 3rd highlight appointment today. Her first visit was $130 and the second visit (for same exact service , no change in hair length) $180. At this time I questioned the increase and was then told it was the styling that increased the cost, no mention of any different level of stylist (odd because it was the same exact service from the first highlight appointment). Today the cost was $220 so I questioned the increase cost again and this time I was told we were setup with a level 3 stylist that we weren’t even told about or requested. Why weren’t we given the option to go with a lower level stylist instead of the highest level stylist? We were not even told there were different levels of stylists. This appeared as a rip off to me, because people should have the option to pick the level of stylist they prefer. I will be contacting the corporate office about this, it is misrepresentation at it’s highest. Please beware of what they are selling you at Visual Changes First Colony Mall. We will not be visiting again.

My son likes to go here because of a particular stylist we made an appointment and I was running late and called I asked if I should reschedule the receptionist told me no they would work it out that I could still come. We get there it was 15 minutes after and I was told she couldn’t do his haircut but another stylist could. Umm no that is the only stylist he will let touch his hair. Then the receptionist told me well you said 10 minutes you took longer, really 5 minutes more do you not see my stroller with my baby that I had to get out of my car plus walk from parking lot into the mall. I called if you needed me to reschedule I would have no problem but you let me come and then did what you did. The only reason I even gave 3 stars is because the stylist ended up getting us in. This place is way to expensive and too out of the way for me. I won’t be back. My son will have to find a different stylist.

My daughter had an appointment on 08/06, they literally took 5 minutes on her hair cut. The person that cut her hair did not finish the service because he said that she had lice. My daughter suffers from eczema on her scalp since she was a newborn, she is now 13 years old. My husband is the one that had to take my daughter since we had to split up to get everything we needed for back to school. They still made my husband pay for a service that was not worth $28.00. Visible Changes is the only hair salon that me and my three girls use. We never had any issues before but we will need to start looking for a new hair salon.

Since 2002 I have been going to visible changes .I stated at the gallery location my hair stylist, left and I went the the one at the one in west oak mall. Unfortunately that location close,so I end up at the sugarland location, love visible changes they always have done a awesome with my hair. Never have an issue with any of the past location. My stylist and has a great relationship. But I I noticed a major difference, with the sugar land location front end staff who book the appointments was always rude not friendly. However after almost 5 yrs of coming to this location. For the past six months I would booked appointments with my stylist Nicholasa and was told she is not available. However may 22 I poked and appointment for 9am got there in time., shampoo blow dry.I was so excited to be on a 3pm flight yo Dallas for engagement. But when I got there I was told my stylist do not work on a Thursday my heart was I don’t want to missed my son’s engagement the girl at front told they have no pm to do my hair, but throw yo another stylist who had an appointment the same. However a sylist name Jonny came in early that morning for some reason he said it was divine intervention thanks to Jonny . It was so stressful but inadequate it to Dallas. Similar situation occurred two week ago book my appointment a week ahead for 6pm got to the mall a hour early just waiting having a juice a Jamba Juice at 545pm my phone a I answered some rudely asked, what are you going to get here? I said iam here and my appointment is for 6pm!!! She said no 530pm and you are not going to get service. 2 mins fro Jamba I got there there was male African American hair stylist . Standing at the counter with his bag on his shoulder as if he was waiting for me as Igor the the counter a young lady was standing waiting also I presumed she is the one that called introduced myself my name is Annette small ? I asked why for the past six months trouble when I schedule she said you just schedule yesterday and we call to remind and you did not answered because you appt was for 530pm I said to her had I known, my appt was for that time , I was here in the mall at 5pm so that doesn’t make sense would admit that they made mistake’s as previously done. We are going back and forth she was. Very rude telling i am aggravating her I must up the male stylist tell me ( mam be quite don’t let me have to call security)!!!!! My response to him was(wow your are going to call security on me because I am talking!!!) you are not asking her to stop and she is so disrespectful very disrespectful never call Jonny my stylist I was there 20 mins after six no stylist I sat down for 10 more mins then she walk out from around to counter pass tell me I am not getting I told I no longer wish to speak her her hair was green she went to back door with few more stylist they all gathered around her but I did not pay that much attention because it was not serious 635 pm Jonny Camry took me yo shampoo bowl while at the bowl I saw 2 female security office in yellow came in the same door still did not worry about knowing that I did not do anything wrong. Jonny shampooed my hair put the treatment day me under the he said 10 min 2 mins under the dryer person with the green hair came with a sugarland police officer l I was still like what is this what is going on . The officer said she have something to say to me I lift the dryer off my head I said !!! What do you have to say she said i not giving you leave with the treatment on my hair with the plastic cap on my is this real is this really happening!!!! After 20yr never any fights law abiding citizens of the country cannot speak in visible changes . !! Because t that person was vindictive and manipulative having everyone believe that I was a threat to her because she just was not going to give me service as she said twice. The office was perturbed he left I still have to get the chemical out of my hair did not want drive 40 mins Home with chemical in my hair really visible changes!! Why? All the lies

Myra is the only person I trust to cut my hair, I love her work so much and she’s the reason I always come to this visible changes, she also helped me discover Chaati who’s an incredibly talented hair color specialist and gave me the perfect hair color exactly how I wanted. I was 10 minutes late due to a train crossing that delayed my tardiness and they did not accept my excuse and told me they could not take and I had to reschedule. I blocked a whole afternoon for haircut and color and ready to spend some $400 and they turned me away. Never again will I step foot in their salon again and give them my business.

I wrote a review regarding the bad service that my daughter received. I got a reply that the manager was going to contact me but I have yet to receive a reply or a call back. Like I mentioned before, we have been going to Visible Changes for the past 20 years. I never had any issues with the location at the Galleria, West Oaks, and Memorial. We moved to Sugar Land a year ago and the closest location to us now is Sugar Land. We never had any issues until now. I recommend any Visible Changes location EXCEPT the one in Sugar Land.

A fine experience in Oct 2022, BUT I simply cannot believe that they transferred the 3% credit card fee (that businesses pay for using VISA) to MY bill. This appears to be a relatively recent change. IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, I’ve NEVER seen a business do that. Shocking. Haircut
