I used to love going to get my haircut at Visible Changes. Back in the day, I knew that if I paid the extra money for a higher level stylist, I could be confident that I would be getting someone who knew what they were doing, someone whom I could count on to handle my hard to style hair & walk out with a superior hair cut. Well, I was recently told my an employee that nowadays, the company seems to just promote people hardly based on their cutting abilities.

I’ve been going to Berenice for over 20 years (for haircut/style). (It may be more like 25 years.) I can’t imagine using anyone else! Over that time, she has become a friend as well. I’ve been happy with my hair every single time, no matter what I’ve requested…she is truly amazing! I LOVE her!

I get my hair cut by Maribel which usually costs 125 because I get a blow out. But today I just asked for a regular blow dry and curled which should cost 110$ and she still charged me 125. I feel like I am being scammed for a tip because I always tip good. And the young Hispanic receptionist with medium short black hair was super rude. I told her I wanted to book for my next appointment for highlights and she said “she’s not here that day”. Then I asked for a different day and once again she said “she’s not here that day.” I finally told her “why don’t you tell me a day she’s available because there is a line behind me.” After I got it booked I asked for a reminder card and she rolled her eyes and smacked her lips. And the other Hispanic receptionist with bleached hair checking me out took 10 mins to do it because she didn’t know what she was doing. Today has been the worse experience in my 14 years of going there.

Took us 2 years to find a stylist that could get my teenagers hair right. Rebecca is amazing and we will continue to go to her where ever she goes. Visible changes makes it so easy to schedule an apptment and we never wait more then a few minutes every visit.

Had an amazing experience! My mentee wanted his hair dyed platinum. I was nervous. As a Black man, I wasn’t sure if his hair would take the color. but the colorist did an amazing job; his hair looks so good. I am thankful for her knowledge and her guidance with how he should take care of his hair.

Kara did an excellent job on my haircut! Was satisfied with the experience but with the hair chemist she did not meet my needs the first or second time even after I came back to get it fixed she was no able to explain the different colors when I asked for a specific blonde from picture.
