I’ve been a customer at the La Cantera location for many years and I’ve always been pleased with the services I received. But, yesterday was a whole new experience and I couldn’t believe the amazing transformation. Elena made me feel like a new person with a little sass (that’s a good thing)! I’ve never had a bad experience at the La Cantera location and I give them a 5 star rating. Elena, incredibly amazing, is a star on her own. I highly recommend her.

I am so impressed with the service I received from Elana! I have a lot of hair & it’s very thick so it takes a long time to cut it. This was my first time with Elana. She tailored her technique around my type of hair & took her time to ensure the pattern was as pefect as possible. She gave me an immense amount valuable information that I will absolutely be utilizing because she very clearly knows what she’s talking about. I definitely trust her to continue to be my stylist & I’m super gateful to have found her. I immediately booked my next appointment, just left and am already thinking about having her do an updo on my hair next week, just because 🙂 Thank you so much Elana for giving me my beautiful hair back. Worst hair style done by Fabian! My updo became a down-do within 45 mins after stepping out of store!!!! This place is a real joke to charge over $100 with work that last under 100 mins!!!! Learn about using products that can create texture to hair that will then allow for a better hold?! Maybe it’s not the stylist but the formulas ya’ll use?? Ridiculous service ever!!!!!

Unfortunately today’s visit will be my last visit with any Visible Changes. I’ve been coming to Visible changes every 3 months for the last year (often over the last 20 years). On my last visit at Northstar, they charged me an additional $15 for a conditioner in my hair. The girl that washed my hair (not the stylist) asked me if I wanted conditioner and I said yes, but she never told me the additional cost. I found out when I was paying. I’m aware of the extra $20 hot tools charge, so I never request to have my hair flat iron. Well today at the La Cantera location, I had an appointment with a Senior stylist. I had my hair washed, cut and blow dried. When she started to use the flat iron, I mentioned I don’t normally get my hair flat iron here and she said it was just to get the tips on the top of my head to go down. So went I went to pay it was $55. The charge caught me off guard, but I couldn’t bring up the site to verify the charge for a cut and dry for a Sr Stylist. Thinking maybe the prices went up, I just paid and left a 20% tip. It still bothered me so I called back to verify my charge. I was informed because of the texture of my hair, that I had an additional charge ($20) for blow drying and styling. It doesn’t make sense as I have thinning hair and it’s about 3 inches below my shoulder (she only used the flat iron on my tips at the top of my head, several seconds). I’ve never had an extra charge because of blow drying my hair and my ‘texture’. The service was great, but the charging piece is a shady practice. Consumers should be informed of any additional charges prior to any service. That’s misleading, not everyone wants to pay an additional 60% of the supposed charge (I ended up finding their price list online, should have been $35) and not everyone has the money for that. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Veronica is AMAZING! She makes sure to give you the desired color you’re wanting and makes sure you’re happy with it. She’s also the amazing at shampooing your hair. As silly as it may sound, I truly felt like I was in a spa! I will continue to see her and go wherever she goes because she’s incredible at her work. Please ladies and gentlemen, if you’re looking for an excellent colorist, she’s the one. Veronica is also incredibly friendly! You won’t be disappointed!
