Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityThanks to the pandemic, it had been over a year since I’d had my last haircut and, then, I was going to a barber. After having recently been vaccinated, I felt like I was able to get back to get my haircut. I went to my barbershop and nobody was wearing a mask in there so I left. My wife has been going to Visage for years now and she said that what she’d seen on Facebook indicated that they were strict about mask wearing and they were taking all kinds of safety measures with clients. That sounded great so I made an appointment with Valerie and thought I’d give the salon a try. I arrived and called to let them know I was outside. She called me in and there was just Valerie, one other hairstylist and another client. That’s it. Everybody was wearing masks and the atmosphere was very relaxed. They have moved to a new location in Dillsboro and the new shop is very chic. In the year that I had been staying at home, I’d pretty much grown a muppet on my head and gave Valerie and idea of how I used to wear my hair, but I let her help me find a style. God knows what I’d done during the pandemic wasn’t working! She did a fantastic job and I was so thrilled with the style she’d created! Everybody was so friendly and nice – not to mention professional – that I made another appointment and am so glad I went. It was the closest thing to feeling back to normal I’d experienced in a long time. Take a look at the mass of hair that came off my head! Thanks to the pandemic, it had been over a year since I’d had my last haircut and, then, I was going to a barber. After having recently been vaccinated, I felt like I was able to get back to get my haircut. I went to my barbershop and nobody was wearing a mask in there so I left.
