Ok soo, I went for a simple blowout and they charged me 60 dollars for a wash and blow dry, talking about my hair is long, my hair doesn’t even go to my bra anymore so stop it. I set appt for 5pm and they kept doing other ppls hair in between mine, I didn’t leave till 7:30pm, and my blowout was giving what it was supposed to give! So that was my last time going, hate that to.

I found this salon over a year ago on Google and have been a loyal customer ever since. The salon is very clean and all of the staff are friendly and sweet. I highly recommend Karolina! I have very long, very thick hair and Karolina is always patient, caring, and thorough when she does my blowouts. She pays attention to what my hair needs and I always leave with healthy, shiny hair. Price is reasonable too for someone who has A LOT of hair!!! Please give them a chance if you haven’t! You won’t be disappointed!

I went in and showed the person who I believe is the owner what I wanted. Brown with two (SMALL) blonde streaks in the very front. Now, my hair is brown but I have grays and I needed them covered. She proceeds to run her fingers through my hair (all my hair mind you not just the front) and quotes me $100-$110. Cool. I come back later for my appointment and get started and the same lady says to me “oh you didn’t tell me you wanted to brown. Just the blonde. That’s gonna be more money.” I did tell her but she misunderstood and was quick to pass the blame and say that I didn’t tell her. Which already shows her character. She could’ve easily said “I’m sorry honey I misunderstood, the price I quoted you was just for the highlight.” But NOPE it was MY fault. So now I’m annoyed and already sitting and ready so I say screw it fine. They dye my hair, the brown is fine, but the blonde is the color and texture of wheat. The same lady says “oh was your hair black?” I told her it was about 2-3 years ago. I went back in pictures to verify because that’s how I am and sure enough it was 3 years ago and I had been blonde after that. But now the fact that she didn’t test strip my hair is also my fault. My hair is super healthy, they said so themselves, and now the hair framing my face is dried, broken, and a gross yellow orange. I had to go buy myself a toner to just fix it myself. Anyway, she charged me $160 which means two small blonde streaks are $110 but dying the rest of my head was $50. Not to mention they played nothing but religious music but were speaking poorly about a black woman’s hair in Spanish while she was in the room. Sorry but a good Christian does not talk about someone that god made in his own image that way. Completely put off with the ENTIRE place and experience. I will be looking for anywhere else to get my hair done.

I spoke to Marta over the phone when I scheduled an appointment and she recommended a botox treatment for healthier, stronger hair with less frizz. After I washed my hair out at home my hair started coming out in chunks!! I LOST OVER HALF MY HAIR!! I’ve been natural for a few years and I recently took out braids and my hair was really tangled and coarse. I never had Dominicans do my hair but always heard they do really good blowouts. This was my first time getting that service done. Alexandria took her time and detangled my hair. I’m very tender headed and it didn’t hurt. After she detangled my hair she washed my hair for a good minute and put me under the dryer for about 15 or 20 minutes with conditioner which is a plus for me because I hate sitting under the dryer . Next she gave me a nice blowout, flat iron, and trim. I think the blowout is normally $45 but I paid $80 because they had to detangle my hair with a deep conditioner and I feel it was worth it.
