Don’t go here they are so unprofessional. Dr. Master relayed a message to the nurse & she actually told me to use the same grease on my hair I been using…. What? I don’t even use grease, these people should retire & definitely not have the privilege to see patients. I also read the reviews, I had the exact same experience. My family will find another practice.

Appointment was for 11:15 to see Cynthia Ferguson for a 2nd follow up appointment I checked in at 11:18. When I arrived I requested a records release to one of my other providers and the receptionist didn’t “officially ” put in my check in time until 11:21. Even though she told them I was there at 11:18 they told her I would have to wait until 1pm to be seen. REALLY??? Not today! Even if I was 6 minutes late,I generally wait longer than that to be called back. The receptionist was apologetic and explained that she told them I was there at 11:18 and was filling out paperwork . Didn’t matter. I rescheduld but don’t know if I will return. I’m thinking about seeing a different practice.

I used to go here. I was a patient for about 4 years up until one of the front staff members decided to disrespect me over the phone. Selena was loud, ghetto and very unprofessional. I tried to call and speak with the officer manager, Robert King. He was just as ignorant as she was and didn’t want to resolve the situation. I say trust the reviews that this establishment has ghetto, unprofessional staff working for them and they do not care about their patients.

Had two appointments today, (for my son and myself) one at 7:30 and one at 7:45 am with Cynthia Ferguson. After meeting with my son at 8:20 her staff came to me to say Ms. Ferguson was overbooked for the day and would not be able to do the other appointment. No explanation other than “she was overbooked.” It took two months to get this appointment. I will not be returning to this practice.

Having experienced over 15 skin cancers before seeing Dr Johnson, I was not a newbie to the whole process. But the professionalism and “bedside manner” of the whole staff was really exceptional!! I have been coming for years now, and even brought my 90 year old mother when she needed surgery! I cannot recommed Dr Johnson enough!

The front desk ladies were great, but Dr. Robert Masters gave me the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor EVER, and the appointment only lasted 5 minutes max. I won’t go into details, but I left feeling so dismissed and disrespected. He didn’t ask me any questions or do any type of exam before immediately telling me what he “needed” to put me on because “nothing else would ever work”, even though I know that to be completely untrue. It was painfully obvious that he was just trying to sell me a medication so he could get a paycheck. I immediately started crying when I got back to my car. I will definitely not be back.

If I could give a zero I would. I’ve been trying to get a prescription filled for nearly a month and they have been neglectful and incredibly incompetent.

Let me start my review by saying that my husband and I have been patients of Mr. Masters for a few years now. I haven seen him for skin checks and a scalp condition. His concern for my scalp condition was non existent. I just passed that off as oh well, I will just get medication here. I eventually had my son and my mother see him. At one point I did try another PA and I guess when I asked too many questions, she informed me that she only could spend 15 minutes with me. Anyway, fast forward to my mother’s visit. My mother was seen by Mr. Masters for a spot of skin cancer on her forehead. He scraped the spot and told us it would be back in a week. When I didn’t hear anything after 9 or 10 days I called and was told that it normally takes 10 to 14 days even though they initially say a week. I waited another two weeks and called. I spoke to Cynthia and was again told that it was not in. I asked why was it taking so long and she did not have an answer. About a week later she called to make the appointment. I asked again why it was so long and she did not have an answer. I told her that I wanted to speak to Mr. Masters. She said, “Do you want me to make the appointment or do you want to wait and talk to him?” Of course, I didn’t appreciate that but I wanted an explanation. Someone called that afternoon and left a msg for me to call back. When I called them back I was put on hold and after a couple of minutes, Masters got on the phone. When I tell you how ugly and unprofessional he was, that is an understatement. It was beneath him to get on the phone with me much less answer a few questions. He would not let me speak and I finally yelled, “If you would let me speak I might be able to get a word in”. I was informed by him that they called several times. This is a lie because I had called twice and was told both times that the results were not back. They probably had my mom confused with another patient. And why when Cynthia finally called for the surgery appointment didn’t she say that we have tried to call you. I made the appointment begrudgingly but canceled that same day. I sent in a medical records release to have the records faxed to Pariser Dermatology and it was not done. I called Monday and Tuesday that following week. I was then told they had fax trouble and for me to email another release form. I did and called to check and was told by Val that she didn’t get it. I verified her email address and sent it again. Didn’t get it. I was told that she did not have time to keep checking for the email by another woman. This woman was going to email me also so I could reply but it was never received. Incompetence or game, I think both. My husband had to go pick up records because they would not fax or email them to Pariser Dermatology. I had left a msg with Val to have the office manager call me but of course he did not call. My mom saw Dr. Chang with Pariser Dermatology and everything went well. Needless to say, I wouldn’t take my dog to Virginia Dermatology much less myself or my family. They just lost four patients but they don’t care. This is the customer service that we live with today.
