Great for bed tanning and has great customer service; however, I got one of the worst spray tans I have ever gotten. In my lifetime I have gotten a lot of spray tans for different events, but never had I had an experience like this. The staff was so nice and it definitely was not their fault at all but the color given off by the machine made me orange. I got the delayed 2-3 hour tan and it just did not show right on my skin. Could just be my skin tone, but definitely going to stick to the beds for now on

I pay $80 a month as the prices have gone up and now they’ve changed their hours to fewer hours so now I can’t tan when I get out of work on the weekends , they have also changed things so you can schedule appointments to tan so now almost every time I get there to tan someone “has an appointment in the next 10-20 minutes” so I can’t use the beds or spray tan machine even though I’m already there unless I want to wait an extra 30-40 minutes. $80 a month is extremely expensive to not even be able to use what I pay for… extremely disappointingService: TanningI’ve been tanning here for years now and I’m super disappointed with the new changes. I had my first spray tan today. It was such an amazing experience. I’m going to Vegas in a couple of week and wanted to get a little color but I don’t use the tanning beds anymore. So, I wanted to check the spray tan’s out prior to my vacation. I researched tanner’s online around me for a couple of weeks and found that VIP had the best reviews. I called a day ahead and made an appointment. The person (I can’t remember her name) I spoke with was very informative and patient with all my questions. The salon was easy to find and had plenty of parking. When walking in, the salon was very clean and welcoming. The girl at the desk was a doll!!! I made sure I got her name, Dani (not sure of the spelling), she was awesome and so very friendly. She went above and beyond helping me, answering my questions and calming my nerves. She went thru all the packages and was never pushy. She was so knowledgeable, I just took all her suggestions and went with it. When ready to go back, she showed me everything from the barrier cream, how to stand and what to do when I’m done. I got the (not sure if I’m saying this all correctly) Dark Level, immediate color and am so very pleased!! And, I’m not orange!!! It looks so natural. The customer service, alone, would have me returning. I am confident I’m going to love my tan as the days go by!!! and plan on making another appointment prior to my vacation!!! Thank you, Dani!!

Simply put, Marshall and his staff are exceptional. In a market where competition is fierce, VIP is far superior, both in their availability of a wide-range of beds and tanning options but also in their expertise of what works and their efforts to ensure a positive experience. For what it’s worth, I recently relocated to the Lansing area for work and essentially chose a name from the phonebook, assuming it would be a trial and error ordeal. Let me save you the time and hassle and highly recommend VIP Tanning.

I absolutely love VIP tanning. All of the staff is friendly. They’re always on top of things and even when they are slammed you don’t have to wait long. Its always an enjoyable relaxing part of my day when I can get there. It feels welcoming. Thanks VIP your awesome.

VIP Tanning truly sets the standard for high end tanning. Without question they have the best beds I have ever used! The place is very clean and has a large waiting area. However, with over 20 tanning stations, the wait is never very long; even with the large cliental.

I had never been to this salon, but purchased a Groupon to try it out! I absolutely Loved the beds and am definitely thinking about changing my tanning location to VIP!! Very clean, nice staff and wonderful equipment!! Definitely worth 5 stars!
