First time coming here with 2 other family members. I got gel nails and they were not good. My nails looked lumpy and within 2 days, the nail polish on one nail peeled off. My other 2 family members received pedicures and it wasn’t relaxing at all. They rushed through it. Would not come back again.

Got to book with Cindy. She’s so professional and takes her time on my Pedi. My favorite part is when she clips my toe nails on one foot she will actually make sure the other side is as close to the same, by lining up my toes.Neat polishing and overall great Pedicures every time I sit in her station.

I have been coming to VIP for years off and on. I dont regularly get my nails done. I heard they were open again and went in for mani and pedi. Got in quickly, and services was good and quick. Its been over a week and my gel mani just barely started to peel and i am hard in my hands, so long lasting gel polish. Only issue I had was I the cockroach I saw crawling around.. cringy and off putting I didn’t want to put my feet or shoes on the floor.

I like to be a loyal customer when I find a person at a salon I like. The previous lady I went to on Tapo St. was extremely rude after over 15 years. She left me to soak in spa water while she did a walk-in manicure then proceeded to paint the lady’s nails a different color for each nail!

My husband and I went for pedicures. Unfortunately, he ended up getting a staph infection within the next few days when it started to show signs of infection. After an urgent care visit and 2 weeks of antibiotics, his toe is nearly healed. He ended up losing his toenail though and it may not grow back, according to the Podiatrist.

I have always gone to this nail salon and the service was excellent! I then went yesterday to get a nail fill and I had to wait for about 15 minutes to get in a chair when there were many employees sitting down. Once I say down I got a girl named Tina. She was very rude to me. When I first got there, for the first ten minutes of my session, she was switching to me and then another client. She then had to put on an acrylic nail that fell off. I asked her to reshape my nail and told me that she would need to take my nails off and put them back on.. total BS!!! I’ve been here for years and I’ve never heard this. Then, after she shaped my nails, the shape was totally wrong, the nail was crooked, and one nail was shorter than the other. I told her and she was arguing about what the shape was and the length. Hello, I’m paying you to do my nails how you’d like, not you!! After she would reshape my nail, she would twist my fingers so hard they would crack! She was also filing down my skin with the drill. I told her that she was getting my skin and she just ignored me. I now have a deep cut on my finger due to this! Not acceptable! After I washed my hands, she yelled at me for never using a towel. She never told me to use a towel or not…. very harsh and rude. The only part I was ok with while she painted my nails is that how she painted it! It looked very well! I then showed her my two dollar off coupon (which now would be $17) she said “they changed the price to $18 so now it’s $20) I said, ” no ma’am, it’s now $16 if it was $18.” She then charged $2 extra because one of my nails broke off. Very stupid because last time I was there to get a fill, I wasn’t charged extra and two of my nails broke off. After they dried, I gave her a $2 tip, because the nails were beautiful, but her attitude was awful. If you decide to go there, dont ask for Tina!! Overall the salon was clean, but there was a very strong smell of acetone. Next time I go there, I ask to NOT get Tina.
