Went for a liquid gel refill, upon walking in the door I asked the cost yet at the end I was charged $10 more. Additionally I asked for a design on 2 nails on each hand. The manicurist insisted on doing only 1 nail per hand and charged me an extra $10 for that. She completely disregarded my request. I spoke to the manager, she told me to put my concerns in an email which I did but never received a response. Lastly the nails were not smooth , thick and shaped wrong. I would not recommend!!!

Get a gel manicure 11/2 thinking it should last at least 2 weeks. Paint started chipping at day 4 but was away for business and came 11/11 to get them fixed. Told me after 7 days it would be a “small fee” okay no problem was willing to pay the time of the person fixing them. Went to check out and small fee was $25. The entire manicure I got was $29, how is that a “small fee”? I tipped her on top of it so costed me about the same amount to get them fixed then it was to have an entire manicure and I had paint all over my fingers that I had to sand off when I got back.

Got my nails done on a Friday and they looked beautiful but less than 5 days later I had about three to four nails that were chipping and I had gel polish. They did repair the chipped nails and some of them were peeling off so fast forward 3 days after they fixed them one of the ones that they fixed is peeling off so that means they’re not curing it properly. I don’t have time or money to waste so I’ll have to take my business elsewhere but design does look nice…

Critical: Professionalism, ValueI have been coming to VIP for several years and have always had a pleasant experience. However, yesterday was awful. I had an appointment and came to the salon for a pedicure and full set for my senior prom tomorrow. With my pedicure, I didn’t want any scrubs or lotions because it irritates my skin – I only wanted the callus on my feet shaved down. I was waiting in the foot soak for a minimum 25 minutes before someone came to actually work on me, and my feet were completely stained blue by this time. I work at a restaurant, so I know it can be difficult to keep all clients in mind. However, the salon has 8 customers at the time I came, it was not extremely busy. To leave a customer in a foot soak for almost a half an hour, to the point where the water is cold, is completely unacceptable. This dye would not come off with water, scrubbing, or soap. The woman working used the same acetone used to take of gel nails to take the blue dye off of my feet, and these harmful chemicals are not good for your skin at all! Especially when you have your senior prom the next morning. When it was time to pay, I was given only 3$ off of my total. This was completely unacceptable and I am very disappointed with my experience. I also have pictures for reference. I’m officially done with VIP Nails, I went there on Friday. And very disappointed in my nails, I pay good & tip well. And I want them to take their time doing them, the woman was rude & rushed doing my nails. I feel if you’re not a regular they take no time on you. Which isn’t right! I used to go there all the time but stopped, and now I remember why! Now I’m definitely done. I won’t return again. So I don’t recommend the one in Woodbury Heights.

You get what you pay for- I don’t do anything fancy I like just regular polish and getting pampered once in a while. Anytime I get a pedi the polish stays on for weeks/months, but at this place it chipped in a few days. Same with my nails, very disappointed. Nice lady who did my mani! Just not happy with my overall outcome of how long my mani/pedi lasted.

Meh… ok so lets start with pros: great customer service , instant service, lots of space and nice decor. Everyone was welcoming and attentive. The menu options are plentiful and they have a nice check in ipad to sign in visitors. BuT…. There are some areas that need improvement especially for their higher priced services and hygiene.

My daughter has to get at least 2 nails fixed every time she goes, once her nail flew off 2 days after getting them done. Also, now they charge 3% fee for using a card but tell you that, the just charge the fee. Dip powder, Gel manicures, Acrylic nails, Pedicure

Service is as fast as a fast food place. The service worse. I had a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrows waxed. The woman who did my service was pleasant so it seemed in the beginning but when she got done my feet she started to rush even more. She rushed through my eyebrow being waxed never asking me how I wanted them then when she was done she didn’t even show them to me she rushed out the room and turned the light out on me as I walked out behind her. When she did my nails she rushed doing it too then said, ‘give me those ” talking about the pedicure slippers. The worst part was being told to pay before the service was done as if I had no money. So, I will not be going back. Things are more expensive now I will do my nails myself until I find better.
