Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI love this salon and Eric. I use to have gel nails but I’ve found the veneer to be far superior. They are better for your nail health. They don’t break and/or chip. They are thinner and more flexible. I’ve never had one pop-off. It is an amazing system and I highly recommend it. First time visiting VIP and I really enjoyed everything about the experience. They give extra attn to the cuticle areas and rough spots. Also extremely time efficient. One tech prepped my hands for “dip” manicure, while another did the pedi service. They communicate well and their massage chairs are top of the line. So glad I gave them a try, and I look forward to next time.

I had my gel nails done by the owner ( I believe her name is Leyla) and she was amazing!! I love how she did not use the electric nail filer on my nails that have often been grinder down too thin at other places. She was very precise and thorough and got my gel polish right up to the cuticle. It was the best nail polish application I have had. She was also very sweet and kind. She also remembered my name when I came back in a second time as a walk-in! I highly recommend going to this place for all of your nail enhancing needs.

As a nurse, I get a lot of wear-and-tear on my nails—be it physical patient care or fighting to open 30 pill packets during morning med pass. I am also accident prone, in general. I have been so happy to discover Eric’s veneer system. I am able to keep my nails healthy and relatively more protected. I initially went in with a few broken ones, and Eric/Lan were able to do extensions so that all my nails looked even, and still natural—great for my OCD. Since I have been skipping the colored polish (because I love to look at them so much), I have gotten so many questions and compliments from friends and co-workers in NC and RVA. I just wish this was available in more places!

I have been here twice so far and had great experiences both times. My nails look fantastic and it was one of the best nail experiences I’ve had. Super friendly and kind staff who are wicked fast, but incredibly thorough (and you never feel rushed). Even after 3 coats of gel, the polish never feels thick, and they always paint right to the edge of your nail-two pet peeves that I never have to worry about here. My polish lasted a long time, and I only had to go back when it grew out.

Pedicure was good. Not so great on the nails. Initially Ben started on my nails and I already did not like how his acrylic application was(I think he he learning). But I don’t want someone who isn’t experienced on my nails. Layla took over and it got better but I can still tell which nails Ben started on when I look at my nails. Nails are a bit bulky but Layla made it a little better. Over the service of was okay. But I probably will not return.
