The employees here are so rude! First, when asking to cut my natural nails down I asked my pointer finger be cut a little different because that nail curves to the side and I need It arraigned out. I have had dip for 4 years straight and this has never been an issue, the man said “I can’t leave It like that, that’s nasty” ok that’s why I asked you to cut It differently but fine. Then when asking for oval shaping, when I looked It was almond shape. I just asked for It to be more rounded out like the oval shape and he said “well that looks oval to me” well not to me and it’s not how I want It??? Further, on the third layer of dip he only did It half way up so It wasn’t smooth, i waited until after he finished filing It down to see if It buffed out, when I didn’t I asked for It to be smoothed out to which he responded “well this is how I do my nails” at this point he had been so rude and arguing with everything I said I responded “well It looks sloppy” he just kept going and said “just let me finish” whatever fine, I just wanted to leave by now. When he was done, and It still wasn’t smooth, he put my clear coat on and just left me there. I asked if he was going to finish the top coat and put my fingers under a light to cure It and he said “no that’s not how you do dip, where are you even from?” Never in my life have I not had my dip nails cured or had a nail tech constantly argue with me when I’m just asking for what I want because I’m paying for It. I just got up and asked to pay at this point and left. Not giving It 1 star because the nails look OK, just not good or what I wanted. Mainly It was a super unpleasant experience and I will never go back, and definitely tell people to find a different nail salon if they ask me for recommendations.

VIP Nails has been nothing but wonderful to me so far. Everyone is very helpful and excellent at his or her job! Jenny did my Christmas-themed, detailed design gel nails with dipping powder on Black Friday, and I JUST left from having them removed with Tracy, who was also great – and I had them removed only because Christmas was yesterday! I never expected them to last this long. They still looked and felt almost brand new. I got so many compliments. I will be back.

They will be upfront with u if there is something they can or cannot do. George is my go to guy but my friend has seen Abril and Mike. They r both awesome as well! Best nail salon in springfield!
