Best salon in the Five College area! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and always made it a good time when receiving their services. Their prices are reasonable and the quality of their work is great! Gel manicures always lasted me at least a month with no issues.

Booked an appointment for same day service. Arrived and was seated with a nail tech. He did not do any maintenance on my nails except for drilling them down and making then very thin. I showed him a pic of what I wanted and at first he started with one shape and I voiced that I didn’t like it and he told me HE didn’t like the way I WANTED my nails. My nails were very inconsistent and too thick . My nails didn’t even last a weak before they broke . When removing my nails I found it very difficult to do so and when i finally got all the acrylic off, my nails were thin and damaged. I will not be back and don’t recommend. 50 plus dollars for mediocre service is not my cup of tea.

Critical: Punctuality, QualityI had a standard manicure and pedicure this morning, pleasant experience but I got an inexperienced nail technician. He did not clean under my finger or toe nails, left rough edges, and didn’t clean smudged polish. He had trouble doing nail designs (I got flowers in the end), which felt rushed and ended up smearing during the final coat on my left hand. I found small scratches from the nail filer on my fingertips when he was trying to even them out, I tried to picture them. He arrived ~15 min late to the appointment, which I would overlook as things happen.Overall, he seemed nice but could use more training or oversight. He did not clean under my finger or toe nails, left rough edges, and didn’t clean smudged polish. It was my first time at VIP and my first pedicure of 2020 on 7/28. I decided to get the spa pedicure because my birthday is 7/31. It was awesome ! Very thorough, not rushed in any way. I chose white for my toenail color and there was a issue with the polish type they chose. They didn’t like the way it came out and they re-did it 3 times until it was right. I really appreciated the time and effort they put in to making sure I got a great final result. Well worth the trip 40 min from Guilford VT 🙂 I’ll be back!

This is by far the best nail salon I’ve been to. I live in Holyoke and drive to this VIP Nail Salon in Northampton because of how amazing the staff is. From the second you walk in you’re greeted with friendly caring workers who make sure comfort and satisfaction are always met. I even went the day before my Smith graduation and they were able to take me so last minute, close to closing time. Overall amazing top experience, would highly recommend!!
