I have been going here for 15 Years this month! Wowwwww where do I start…. Courtney has been my nail tech for the last 15 years!!!!! I never thought that what started out as a service of her doing my nails for my wedding. Would have led to an Awesome Friendship/Sister with her and the entire staff at VIP, that we have today! We have all watch each other grow through many different growing pains. And yet her talent and customer service has never changed!!! Always going above and beyond to make sure her clients are comfortable and happy! No matter how nerve wrecking we can be at times She has not closed the books on us! I just want to give the biggest THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to Courtney, Tiff, Trish, and all the staff their that works so hard each and everyday giving exceptional customer service, laughs, and love to everyone that comes into VIP! Y’all are the BEST! Thank you and may God continue to shine many blessings upon you now and in the future! Hands up and down Courtney is the baddest Nail Tech in Town!!!!! I said what I said ☝

I’ve been booking to get my hair retwisted there for 2 years. Note: booking. I NEVER had a service still. Everytime I come in, she overbooked herself. And will pick and choose her clients. There’s one other loctician there but I’ve never seen her. It’s sometimes no point in setting up an appointment. I get my hair retwisted every 3 months so I guess since I’m not consistent enough…..but they’re far from it too.

The lady that braids has horrible customer service. I booked a braid appointment 2 weeks ago with some lady called Asty who I got her contact from a friend. I asked Asty asked for her address which she sent, before finalizing the appointment for yesterday. To cut the long story short, I got to the address yesterday for my hair appointment and called Asty, only for her to tell me that she sent me a wrong address – her home address instead of her salon address which was almost another 30 mins drive! I was confused and asked her why she would send me a wrong address but she hung up on me and sent me her salon address, no apologies or remorse! Such a horrible impression and a waste of my uber money and time that I can’t get back; I plan to never go there and i woukd advise that the manager cautions this person for their horrible behaviour to customers.

They answered the phones very quickly. I got an appointment with Jenny soon after I called. Jenny is great at cutting and styling my hair. She’s very friendly and so are the other people I had a chance to talk to. The first photo shows how much of my hair she did have to cut off (you can see the damage at the bottom). And the other phone shows the finished product. I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you

My review is regarding stylist Whitney Parker; she did my hair for my wedding on 04/06/2019! Whitney was exactly what I was looking for. The search for a hairstylist who knows how to style black hair (3c/4a if you’re into the hair typing system) and will execute EXACTLY what I want for my wedding AND is located in Minnesota AND is willing to travel 3 hours from Minneapolis to Pine River was rough. I was referred to Whitney through a friend and I did a hair trial in December. I really liked what she did at the trial, but she did mention that she thought my bangs could be made to look fuller by adding a couple extensions. I told her I wasn’t sure if I wanted extensions, and she said it was up to me and that she would create the extensions for me if I changed my mind. I in fact did end up changing my mind and when I told her, she had already made the extensions for me! I want to point out that she came and did my hair for my wedding while being 8 months pregnant! She and her husband drove 3 hours to Pine River; she did my hair, my mom’s, the flower girl’s, and my maid of honor’s hair and then drove back home. She did also stay through my “first look” pictures so she could fix my hair if it needed to be fixed (which it did, after standing outside in the misting rain for the pictures). My hair didn’t move the entire night and it was absolutely everything I wanted. She also jerry-rigged together a bobby pin set-up to make putting on my veil super easy; my veil didn’t move through the entire ceremony and the first look. And the true test of whether or not I ever let someone do my hair a second time…my hair reverted back to its lovely, curly state with absolutely no heat damage 😀 Whitney did well, and she blended in with my family and was laughing and talking with all of us the whole time, while still being professional and getting the job done. I highly recommend her for one of the most important days of your life. Thanks again Whitney!

The absolute best hair salon I’ve ever been too. Everyone is very professional, pleasant and they always make you feel comfortable. My stylist Tricia is very accommodating to my ever changing work schedule. I never have a problem getting an appointment to have maintenance done on my dreadlocks. The shop it’s self is nicely laid out, bright, always spotless. Even with everyone wearing masks you can see the smiles under their masks. VIP is my forever Hair Salon.

Mrs. Patricia has been doing my hair for about 9 months now and I absolutely love her! She is very detailed oriented, and focuses on your particular needs as well as where you would like to see your hair such as length, thickness, etc. Over the course of 9 months my hair has grown SOOOOO much! Healthier than it has even been! I wish I could give more than 5 stars but Mrs. Patricia, keep doing what you are doing love!
