Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI am a native New Yorker, and am a frequent user of Dominican salons. I went to the Charlotte location and made an appointment online. I arrived slightly early (very clean, comfortable, professional), the stylist I booked with wasn’t there BUT they were very accommodating and took me anyway. My wait wasn’t too long but what I expected for a Saturday. My shampoo was great, and I ended up with Martha. She got my hair very straight (just how I like). I am a native New Yorker, and am a frequent user of Dominican salons. I went to the Charlotte location and made an appointment online. I arrived slightly early (very clean, comfortable, professional), the stylist I booked with wasn’t there BUT they were very accommodating and took me anyway. My wait wasn’t too long but what I expected for a Saturday. My shampoo was great, and I ended up with Martha. She got my hair very straight (just how I like). I will definitely be back.

Critical: QualityI was a little disappointed with my experience! I did wait a long time, but I understood there were a lot of people and only 3 stylist. It seemed like the lady doing may have rushed though it, she didn’t take her time and so it very Thoroughly, I am highly disappointed that my ends didn’t get clipped, she didn’t even ask me, but I saw the other stylist ask there client if they wanted there ends clipped, and I even called before coming to make sure it was included in the service and I was told it was! So that was disappointing especially since that was the main reason I wanted my hair blown out, the front of my hair was very cutely curled and done pretty decently, the back of my hair on the other handed was straightened with an awkward bump at the end, and it just wasn’t a good blowout, it was kinda as if I had straightened it myself, and I don’t straighten my hair well which is why I wanted to get it done, although it move in the wind, it was pretty much just stiff, didn’t have much body, and was a bit frizzy, and a slightly puffy. I think if my ends would have been clipped it would have made a world of a difference, and if she would have just taken my time it might have came out a lot bouncier, and straighter! I was a little disappointed with my experience! I did wait a long time, but I understood there were a lot of people and only 3 stylist.
