This visit was not my first visit to VIP; however, it is my last. I asked for a specific hairstyle (knotless Bohemian box braids). I even had pictures to show exactly what I wanted. My hair is NOTHING like the style I requested! My hair is neat and ugly! Not worth $220 at all. Braids

Worse retwist ever. The shop was clean, and the ladies were friendly, but my hair only looked neat at the root. The entire shaft of the hair needs to be twisted, then clipped at the root and the end. As tight as she was pulling, I just knew it would be ok. A retwist should not be painful, and then look a hot mess. Dreadlocks

The younger hair braiders talks and jokes around to much and kept stop Braiding my hair. I went twice and whatever they do my hair doesn’t last longer then 3 weeks. But when the older women does it my hair will last almost 9 weeks before it starts looking nasty, old, and rough.

Great customer service and the shop was decently clean. However my twist braids did not last. I had to go back 5 days later and get the back row redone. My twist at two weeks looked like 6 weeks. Then as I’m looking at them when she trimmed them with scissors she cut braids. Sad I like the ladies but I won’t be coming back. I’m not giving $200 dollars away like that nor my time I can’t get back .

The people were friendly … I went to get my dreads retwisted I called first they stated they did dreads. They were wrong they do not and cannot do dreads they don’t even use the proper products I was skeptical at first but went anyway so I still paid even tho I came out looking how I went in I made the wrong decision.. just moved to neighborhood but will be traveling to happy to be nappy here on out $80 dollars wasted lesson learned oh the braids I seen them do were nice just not dreads ….

I have been here twice to get my hair braided! Nice atmosphere and nice ladies ! I send my mom here as well! They braid really fast too and the hair last! Prices are also reasonable and the have a nice selection of colored hair . I will definitely be a returning client! Braids
