I have loved my experience at Vintage The Salon and can’t recommend Amanda Dixon enough. Over the last 7 years I have visited a salon maybe 3-4 times, and only for haircuts. This year I wanted to find a hairstylist that I trusted and could commit to seeing. Vintage came highly recommend, and when I scheduled my appointment, they suggested Amanda. She is amazing! She listens to your requests, offers suggestions, walks you through what she’ll do, and does an incredible job styling your hair, from cut to color. I have never received as many compliments on my hair as I did after seeing her for baby lights. I asked for natural, low maintenance dimension and she knocked it out of the park! Now, a few months out, it still looks great, which speaks to Amanda’s skill.

I’ve been seeing Melanie for nearly a year now and every apt has been just so wonderful. She is kind, asks lots of questions so she makes sure I’m getting what I want and makes the overall experience wonderful. I’ve had to cancel some apts and move them and she was completely understanding. Before Melanie I hadn’t seen a hair stylist in years, after many horror stories I was tired of trying to find someone who I could trust with my hair. I am so happy to have found her, and everyone in the salon is very friendly. It’s a relaxing atmosphere even fully bustling, and there’s snacks and drinks provided!

I have pros and cons about this salon. First lets start with the pros, I was able to get seen quickly which was extra special for my birthday treat to myself. The atmosphere is very quiet and pleasant. You don’t feel like you are in the middle of other peoples conversations. They have drinks and snacks which is great when you spend hours there.

I saw Ashley for a highlight, tone, and cut, and couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! The color came out better than I could have imagined and everyone at this salon was so sweet. This was my first time here since I just moved over from Seattle and this will be my new regular salon. I highly recommend them to anyone else. Thank you again Ashley and Vintage!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAbsolutely horrible experience. I went in expecting a Brazilian blowout to be done. I even had a consultation prior to my appointment. I was told by the owner Ashley my naturally frizzy curly hair would be looking amazing and so much better and more tamed and the whole purpose was to take away frizz and puffiness. I went ahead with my appointment. After three hours my hair looked exactly the same as I had walked in. I was mortified. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional and Ashley the owner was never kind or nice. I should have took that as a red flag from the beginning. She does not seem about the customer. Only about herself. Which is so wrong. I was crying when I got home and when I asked for a refund she said they would not do that. I am not happy at all with the service for the Brazilian blowout. I was so excited and had high hopes. I feel like I was scammed. I did so much research on this specific treatment of the Brazilian blowout and it is nothing at all not even close to what a Brazilian blowout it. I basically walked out with the exact same hair I walked in with. Horrible service and horrible customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Great atmosphere and customer service. Melanie has done my hair for about a year now and every time I leave I have a fantastic hair cut that I can’t wait to show off. Melanie is great at doing whatever style you want and she’s talented enough to know what would look good for your face. I just got a hair cut today where I told her to do what she thought would complement my face and I have never been happier with a hair cut or felt such a confidence boost.
