This picture don’t do any justice of how clean this cut was but Xavier definitely did not disappoint! He delivered some high quality service that left me walking out smiling and feeling good about this cut! Was my first time getting my haircut with him and not my last. Just PCSed back home from Colorado and after getting my haircut from my previous barber for 5 years I was very hesitant getting my hair cut from anyone else. Within seconds of sitting down in his chair all my worries and hesitation went away! I appreciate how welcoming he was and really took his time with my cut. He listened to me but also gave some great suggestions for my hair texture. He also introduced me to some really good product for my hair. So all in all I walked out with a high quality hair cut, bought some new product, and a new barber and barbershop to come back to! Highly recommend Xavier if you’re looking for a new barber!

All those great reviews don’t lie. 5 out of 5 stars. Vintage ia an old school barber shop with amazing service and great attention to detail. Xavier greeted me on arrival and proceeded to give me an awesome haircut and beard trim… all while talking story in the tradition of barber shops that are now uncommon but were once the cornerstones of their communities. Xavier’s expert advice on styling and maintenance of my new beard was also next level service and greatly appreciated. Based on the level of service, skill, and atmosphere, I give Xavier and Vintage my highest recommendation without hesitation or reservation…. unless of course looking fly as hell and getting mad attention will get you in trouble with the old lady… then perhaps a barber as great as Xavier is not for you.

Xavier did a great job on a big day for me. I took the chance on getting a haircut on my wedding day. I told Xavier that I’m getting married in about 4 hours. I could tell this caught him by surprise, reasonably so, and I could tell he understood the significance to me and he took the extra time and reasonable caution with the haircut and shave. He did a great job. If I lived in Honolulu I would be a regular client of Xavier.

I highly recommend JR at Vintage barbershop. JR is an incredibly talented barber who always takes the time to make sure that his customers look their absolute best. He is incredibly patient and always makes sure to ask what kind of look the customer wants before starting. He is also very knowledgeable and is willing to offer advice on styling, products, and techniques. JR’s attention to detail and skill make him an excellent choice for a barber. He ensures a clean cut and a hot towel shave every time I go. He’s the man.

Made an appointment online for a haircut and beard trim. The barbershop was easy to find, but finding parking wasn’t easy. I only had to wait 5 minutes for my barber to call me up. My barber was very friendly, he did the haircut I wanted and cleaned up my beard and mustache better than any barbershop I’ve gone to. The price here is very reasonable, not too expensive. I will definitely be coming back. If you’re in the area and in need of a haircut but don’t know where to go, I recommend trying this barbershop out.
