Vinny’s Barber Shop was established in 2002 at our first location in Albany, NY. In 2005, we opened our Malta location. In 2017, we opened our Saratoga Springs location. At Vinny’s Barber Shop we are dedicated to our cuts and our customer service. Our cuts range from infant boys to retired Veterans. Our cuts and our service is what we pride ourselves in. You can either walk in and wait for your barber of choice or you can call and schedule an appointment 7 days a week. You can sit down and relax to enjoy the game of your choice on our TV’s. We are proud to be your barbershop. We appreciate the loyalty, friendship, and business. At Vinny’s you’re not a customer, you’re family.

I’m not sure about the other barbers here (I’m sure they’re great) but my 5 star review is because of Ron. Every time I’ve come in I had to make sure it was because I had an appointment with Ron, he takes his time with you and treats the haircut more like a collaboration between him and the client, he always makes sure he’s doing exactly what you asked and always checking to see if you like the progress so far and he’s never failed to give me the exact cut I asked for. Ron has been around for a long time and he’s cut hair all over the area, you can have a conversation with him about almost anything and most of the time learn something new from him before you leave, every time. Great experience as always!

Brought my son in for a much needed haircut. I drive past this shop on a regular basis and wanted to check it out. For being busy on a Saturday we didn’t have to wait long at all for a chair to open up (especially being a walk-in). Paulie did a great job and we’ll be back for sure. The staff was awesome and I personally loved the vibe in the shop. Definitely recommend if you’re in the Malta area.

Im just being honest. This is a nice place and the dudes here all got clean cuts. Staff are kind. Unfortunately, I received the worst hair cut in my entire life and ended up spending $50 the next day to make my hair look as I wanted at a new shop in Schenectady. I think I tried to explain my cut reasonably well. The young dude spent 10 minutes and did not seem skilled in my opinion. I will not be back and I dont think i would recommend this place unless you need a bonehead fade, shave with zero scissors work. 30$ for 10 minutes of the worst. I did not want to create a scene. So I left humiliated. I dont need an apology or anything. Just know not all your staff are even moderately skilled with a quiff, taper cut.

I really enjoy getting my haircut at Vinnies Barbershop in Malta. I found a great barber (Ryan) who exceeded my expectations! The place is full of positive vibes the minute you walk in. I recommend this barbershop to anyone who is looking for a nice clean cut. Beard trim, Haircut

Used to go here all the time, never had an issue. Stopped in for a regular hair cut, told the kid exactly how i wanted it the same way I told every other barber. I left with one of the worst hair cuts i’ve gotten. It happened to be a younger guy, didn’t seem like he knew much. Asked for a fade and got like a number 2 on the sides, asked for not a lot off the top, guy practically made it a buzz cut. Just saying vinny idk about these young guys. Miss seeing razor ron every time i went in there and knew i was in good hands. Sucks having to worry whether or not how your hair will be, even if you tell them the way you want it. Most of them are awesome but truly not a good experience today, Vinny.

0/10. Worst haircut I’ve ever received. I asked for 1/4 of hair off the top and a low fade to 0, and was given a high skin fade and women’s style bangs that can’t be brushed back because they were cut off at the top of my forehead. I am beyond let down as I’ve never had an issue with a low fade and a trim in my life. Do not go here. Haircut

Positive: QualityTraveling through the area and I was overdue for a haircut. Flattop and I find there are many barbers who do not know how to cut one. I googled several on my drive and they were either closed or could not cut one. (The name barber should not be part of your shop if your folks cannot learn how to cut a flattop). But I googled as I was nearing Saratoga and found Vinny’s. They said they could cut it and as luck would have it I was only a few miles from the shop. I had a young man cut it and while he appeared to maybe still be learning he took his time and did a good job. Best flattop I’ve ever had. Not likely but I can appreciate that flattops are not the easiest to cut. He did a good job of doing a clean job. I believe his name was Zack.Service: HaircutTraveling through the area and I was overdue for a haircut. Flattop and I find there are many barbers who do not know how to cut one.
