The stylist name RITA IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! She burned my bra length hair down to no more than an inch and did not even have the decency to apologize. She will only refund me half of what I paid. On top of that , this woman was just so arrogant while she was doing my hair. Anytime I try to explain to her how to achieve the length I wanted using 3 different lengths of crochet locs. She would tell me that shes been doing hair for many years and know what she doing. But still ended up messing it up, the other stylist had to go behind her and fix her mess! The owner is ok though.

OMG, I asked for Goddess braids and I ended up looking like this after 1 day. Braids 10 different sizes and HEAVY AS HELL. I cut them out after 1 day $120 just thrown up in the air. The owner was nice and they accepted a walk in but I’m SUPER DISAPPOINTED I know young people have to learn but this young lady definitely lacked skills. I should have known because she was wearing a bonnet herself. I should have followed my rule of looking at the stylists hair first.

If I could less than one star I would. This shop is the absolute worst!! I went in yesterday for a SIMPLE two strand twist on my natural hair with no hair added. I was quoted $85 over the phone. I came in with my hair washed, conditioned, moisturizer and blow dried and was quoted $90 in person (my hair isn’t even shoulder length). I specified that I did not want additional product on my hair except on the ends to seal the twist; however she insisted that she needed to use gel only at the root. About halfway through (1.5 hours in) she said she would be right back. I assumed she was going to the restroom but in actuality she took a 45-60 minute break to continue braiding another client. I waited patiently b/c I did not want to confront her and make the other client uncomfortable as it was not the clients fault. The shop owner re-quoted me $80 at that point. When she finished my hair i was a bit disappointed that ever twist was fully covered with gel making my very thick hair stringy and flat looking. However I felt that the would eventually swell as the days passed. Also, after completion, I was inconveniently informed that they were only accepting cash. When I was unwillingly to leave a personal belonging as “collateral” (to ensure my return) they settled on a CashApp payment. Once I got home and was able to really look at my hair, I realized that she had BRAIDED EVERY TWIST AT THE ROOT. I was infuriated. I sweat from my scalp and work out 5 days/week…the mini braids at the root will most likely lock/knot making it impossible to remove these twists w/o damaging my hair. I returned to the shop only to find that most everyone had left. The owner was contacted but I was informed there would be no refund only the option to have it redone. The shop is open by appointment only on sundays and the owner was unwilling to make me an appoint the next day basically pushing blame on the woman who did my hair stating I’d have to wait to speak to her. Now it is Sunday morning and I had to reach out to the shop owner only to be informed that the woman who did my hair isn’t available and now doesn’t feel comfortable redoing my hair. That they will dull not refund my money and that I’ll have to wait for the woman to give the money to someone else in the shop to redo my hair. WHAT TYPE OF SHODDY BUSINESS IS THIS???? Oh and to top it off I was told “it would be better/faster if you took it out yourself”. I will never patron this business ever again!!!

I was beyond disappointed in the service & lack of talent here. I went in on a Friday and set an appointment for the following day. I showed them a picture of the style my daughter wanted. They agreed they could do it and we agreed on a price ($180) & said it would take 4hrs.
