This salon was recently recommended to me by a coworker that has lived in the Virginia area for some time. I really needed to find a salon that I could trust and know that I could continue going to in the future. The salon was very clean, beautiful, and everyone was polite. If you need a salon that doesn’t make you worry about what you will walk out with, this is definitely it. Cristi took one look at the cut I asked for, the desired color and took into consideration how I normally do my hair which all ended in an absolutely refreshing new style. I walked out with what I asked for and more. I’m really glad I received this recommendation. I definitely wish there were more salons like this in the Virginia area!

I have been going here for nearly the last 2 years and had pretty good experiences previously. However, the last 3-4 times I’ve left disappointed or have needed to come in for a “fix”.. I have two small children and going back in isn’t always the easiest especially when it should be done the first time. I have had terrible shampoo experiences here where I’m nearly crying because they are so rough. Not to mention the girl shampooing me ruined my shirt with bleach spraying water down my back. I was then told that I should have taken my shirt off if I was worried about it getting ruined.. I’ve been getting my hair done for years and have never been asked to take off my shirt. I have also never had the issue there so I don’t know why I would have expected it that session.. And very inappropriate conversation they have while doing so. I’m all for salon talk but know your audience. Over all most of the workers in there are great and very kind and I’m sad I haven’t been getting what I’m asking for the last few times I just can’t continue to spend money on a color I’m not asking for or waste time for something I’m unhappy with and for my hair to be darker than when I came in when I’m asking for bright blonde. I haven’t gotten a haircut I really liked in a long time but Barbara did MAGIC to my hair!!! You can tell she really knows what she’s doing, I just showed her some pictures and she made it look exactly like I wanted and explained what would look better for my hair type. She was also really attentive and friendly. She’s the only person I’ll trust to do my hair from now on!!

To begin with, I showed Rebecca a picture of balayage hair and and We discussed being charged for balayage. However she decides to do highlights. The highlights did not even look like the picture I showed her, she then attempted fixing it and it still didn’t look like balayage. In addition to this, there is a section of hair at the bottom that hasn’t been dyed at all. The hair is black while the rest of the hair is lightly colored. The salon then said they would charge an additional $100 to finish the hair that should’ve been done the first time. Although the manager were cooperating well with the situation when I spoke to Rebecca she came across as very rude and uninterested in helping and left mid conversation without hearing my point of view. I am completely unsatisfied with the service and do not recommend her work.

I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early like they request on their website. I then find out that they double booked me. I had to wait an additional 40 minutes for the stylist to squeeze me in between clients. The whole point in making an appointment is that you don’t have to wait when you get there. I could tell the haircut was rushed and I felt like a burden to them. After waiting almost an hour, I had to pay for an overpriced cut. After getting home I had to RE-TRIM my hair because it was uneven. If you’re in this industry and make a mistake that inconveniences YOUR client, you do something to make it right (especially if you want them to come back). Very disappointing first experience at Vincent & Vincent. I made an appointment for a wash, cut, and style. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early like they request on their website. I then find out that they double booked me. I had to wait an additional 40 minutes for the stylist to squeeze me in between clients. Karen is an amazing, talented stylist and a very kind person! This is the first time my hair isn’t frizzy and I can see the waves in my hair. This was my first time and Karen gave me great color, revitalized my hair, and I received a beautiful cut. She was also very sweet to offer to come in on her day off to do my hair for my daughter’s wedding! She is a gift!
