Everyone is very nice and Jennifer always does a great job. She has a wealth of information about hair and how to make my curly hair behave. She is very conscientious and disinfects all areas between clients. She takes excellent notes and always asks if there were any problems or anything I want changed. I have been going here for several years now and have always had a great experience! Everyone is very nice and Jennifer always does a great job. She has a wealth of information about hair and how to make my curly hair behave. She is very conscientious and disinfects all areas between clients. She takes excellent notes and always asks if there were any problems or anything I want changed. I highly recommend the Village Salon.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, ValueI used this Salon in Cashiers last summer for highlights, done with foil and hair cuts.The highlights we’re fine, but I had to go back 4 times to get layers cut in my hair so it would have body and style.I paid for each hair cut and tipped, of course, too, even though the Hair Stylist offered to do the re-does for free.The shampoo gal work so hard on my scalp that it hurt.She is also the receptionist.The salon was very conscientious regarding Covid. Temperatures were taken on the sidewalk before customers entered and everyone had masks on.This summer, I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was rude. It was her attitude more than what she said.I was able to make an appointment for a haircut, but not for highlights. She said that at the haircut, the Hair stylist would tell me about an appointment for highlights.I thought that was strange.Today I went to the appointment for the haircut. No one had a mask on.I asked about it and the hairstylist said that” we don’t mask”. She asked if I was comfortable with that and I said that I wasn’t.This is especially true now as we are currently having cases of even vaccinated people getting Covid Delta in Cashiers.I asked her if she had a mask. She said she didn’t. I asked if she was vaccinated. She replied that she was not vaccinated. I told her that I was uncomfortable in the salon and I left.I tried to be very polite.
