This salon is one of very few that does not smell of Acrylic which FYI is a known carcinogen and causes birth defects. This alone keeps me coming back. I have had French and French gel. They do a decent job and the gel lasts. Their best service is massage during pedicure. Gel manicures

Horrible job. She did not soak my gel polish to remove , instead she used the machine to scrape it off. Used the previous clients towel as a placemat to do my manicure. Both the ladies were sharing the instruments ( on 2 clients, and no sterilization of the instrument) the nail polish is totally lumpy and when I showed to her , she told me my nails are this way . I should have got up n left but I just did not wanna make a scene. Never again!!!! Horrible service

I Go for gel manicures. I often work with the nail tech closest to the cashier counter. She is so FAST but doesn’t sacrifice any quality. I love that I can get a gel manicure in like 25 mins or less, I get tired of sitting in a chair for 60 minutes. Prices are good too! They actually are transparent with wait times which I appreciate. I hate when they have you sit for 20+ mins selfishly.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityToday I went to Village Nails to get my tips filled in. I was not properly greeted when I walked in. The lady who did my nails had no clue what she was doing. I wanted a cool summer nail style with three different colors and she said automatic nope I can’t do that. The second lady scratched me on skin while trying to file my nails and called me a baby. Today I went to Village Nails to get my tips filled in. I was not properly greeted when I walked in. The lady who did my nails had no clue what she was doing. Horrible they dont care about the work or how it looks. They spend as little time as possible on your nails and it will show. I can usually manage to find somewhat of an ok nail tech while I’m away from mine but this was so very disappointing. Not only are they rude the price doesn’t match the work or the time they put into it. She did my nails twice and they were STILL bad. Me and my cousins came here to relax together but it was just stressful and ultimately sucked. When I saw my little cousin sitting with the woman that I had I couldn’t let her make the same mistake. If you want to be treated like you are being rushed through Chinese food restaurant then go here. If you have a small child they can paint those nails but if you want a fill on spot please dont waste your time I’m annoyed I didn’t just read the reviews first .

I don’t tend to do reviews but I feel obligated to after such a bad experience. I went for a mani pedi and the entire experience was rushed. They painted on my skin and left it. Even with that I would give 3 stars, but they also ripped a part of my pinky toe nail and then covered it with nail polish to hide it. That was even after my mother said we were celebrating my birthday. This is the second bad experience there and I will never give them business again. I suggest anywhere else in east Brunswick.

Worse nail place ever. Went to get a fill and repair….. she covered my nails with crazy glue then with the emery board she scooped up some powder put it on my nails then flicked my finger to get the excess off. That was the repair and the fill. Went back to get a refund after 10 min of arguing I got it back. Never again. They say you learn my your mistakes.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueThey had me leave the manicure as if I was done to go to the pedicure chair with nail polish all over the bottom of my fingers , then I sit in the chair and the woman cut my entire pinky toe nail off and tried to tell me she thought it was skin! I literally don’t have a toe nail on my pinky toe now!
