I went today to eat at my favorite Indian restaurant, Aroma, in the same complex, and which I still recommend heartily. It is a popular place, and the parking lot was full. But one vehicle was taking up two spaces. In frustration, I left a signed note on the car that I confess was not pleasantly worded. The owner of the vehicle waited for me to come out of the restaurant, and told me that she owned Village Hair and Nail Salon, that she paid “cam charges” (I still don’t know what those are), that therefore she could take 5 spaces if she wanted, and that if I owned a business there I might have a say about where she parks. It’s her business If she doesn’t care about her own customers not being able to park. But she took two spaces in front of Aroma. I hope other people will react against her elitist attitude. My meal was excellent, but I give one star to an unpleasant personality like this.
