Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI wanted brown french tips. She wanted to put bubble bath as my base and I requested she didn’t because it would be too pink. She insisted it wouldn’t be pink and is what they do for regular french tips. Fast forward, it was too pink. I told her to scratch the brown, just do regular white french tips. They are the worst nails I’ve ever had in my life. They immediately started chipping the next day (this is gel) and broke shortly after. Not only is the quality awful, the tips are way too thick. The staff were unprofessional, talking loudly all over the store, and it wasn’t the cleanest salon. I tried a new nail salon in Starkville, and this is what I get. I wanted brown french tips. She wanted to put bubble bath as my base and I requested she didn’t because it would be too pink. She insisted it wouldn’t be pink and is what they do for regular french tips. Fast forward, it was too pink. I told her to scratch the brown, just do regular white french tips. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAfter receiving the BEST pedicure from Shay, I visited Villa nails again to start getting my nails done in the name of self-care. My first nail experience here was horrible! I left bleeding after she popped nail glue on my eyelashes while gluing on the tips (no apology when I made her aware, but I guess that should have been understood since she didn’t speak English?). My nails looked nothing like the picture shown to the mail tech. I shouldn’t have went back; HOWEVER, the pedicure I received from Shay was so amazing that I decided to give the shop another try (12/22/21) with a different nail tech for a refill on the same nails. She gave me exactly what I wanted. Nails were BEAUTIFUL. HOWEVER, 3 days later (Christmas Day), you could see my nails beginning to lift. I was hoping they wouldn’t pop off over the holidays before I could give the shop a chance to redeem itself, especially after reading the reviews and seeing the response from the business hoping to make things right with the customers. I went back to show Tony (the owner), and his initial response was that I needed a refill. That’s when I proceeded to tell him that it hadn’t been a week. His response was that my nails lifting was “normal” when I knew for a fact this was not true. He offered to fix ONE nail & to come back in a week and he’d give me 10% off the service. After receiving the BEST pedicure from Shay, I visited Villa nails again to start getting my nails done in the name of self-care. My first nail experience here was horrible!
